The status of p53 in a tumor can be inferred by next-generation sequencing (NGS) or immunohistochemistry (IHC). Endometrial cancer (EC) ranks as the most common gynecologic malignancy in USA. While minimally invasive surgical (MIS) techniques have revolutionized EC management, conversion to laparotomy remains a concern due loss of laparoscopic benefits such fewer site infections and shorter hospital stays with reported rates varying widely. Factors influencing this conversion, including patient characteristics tumor attributes, not been fully understood. Our study aims provide framework for...

Abstract Purpose: Effective treatments for advanced endometrial cancer are lacking. Novel therapies that target specific pathways hold promise better treatment outcomes with less toxicity. Mutation activation of the FGFR2/RAS/ERK pathway is important in tumorigenesis. RPS6KA6 (RSK4) a putative tumor suppressor gene and ERK signaling pathway. We explored role RSK4 cancer. Experimental Design: showed expressed normal tissue absent or much reduced On basis previous reports on methylation other...

Serous uterine cancer is not a feature of any known hereditary syndrome. This study evaluated familial risk cancers for patients with serous carcinoma, focusing on Lynch syndrome malignancies. Fifty or mixed endometrial carcinoma cases were prospectively enrolled. Pedigrees developed 29 probands and tumors assessed DNA mismatch repair (MMR) abnormalities. Standardized incidence ratios in relatives estimated. A second-stage analysis was undertaken using data from Gynecologic Oncology Group...
