An experiment with a newly developed high-resolution kaon spectrometer (HKS) and scattered electron novel configuration was performed in Hall C at Jefferson Lab (JLab). The ground state of neutron-rich hypernucleus, He 7 Lambda, observed for the first time (e,e'K+) reaction an energy resolution ~0.6 MeV. This is best reported to date hypernuclear spectroscopy. he Lambda binding supplies last missing information A=7, T=1 iso-triplet, providing new input charge symmetry breaking (CSB) effect...

Since the pioneering experiment, E89-009 studying hypernuclear spectroscopy using $(e,e^{\prime}K^+)$ reaction was completed, two additional experiments, E01-011 and E05-115, were performed at Jefferson Lab. These later experiments used a modified experimental design, "tilt method", to dramatically suppress large electromagnetic background, allowed for substantial increase in luminosity. Additionally, new kaon spectrometer, HKS (E01-011), electron HES, splitting magnet added produce...

Abstract Providing learners of a foreign language with meaningful opportunities for interactions, specifically native speakers, is especially challenging instructors. One way to overcome this obstacle through video‐synchronous computer‐mediated communication tools such as Skype software. This study reports quantitative and qualitative data from partner program that emphasized between American students learning Japanese in the United States English Japan. This article reports the results of student preferences with respect to intervention studies integrated into college level Japanese language courses in two consecutive years. The initial study was entitled `Goal List Project'; subsequent amended `Self-Assessment Project'. former project required students set individual goals and commit a written document. On basis analysis students' responses, second excluded goal list requirement. Both projects contained common elements reflection,...

Computer‐mediated, communication‐based foreign language learning programs are showing great promise. Among these, video‐synchronous mediated communication seems to offer an effective way provide speaking practice, although research findings have been inconclusive. Furthermore, among studies that documented the effectiveness of video‐mediated communication, it is not clear why some learners improve more than others. This study reports data from three separate learner groups who engaged in...

A wheat cultivar, Triticum aestivum 'Hong Mang Mai', shows tolerance to deep-sowing conditions by extreme elongation of the first internode, likely mediated gibberellin (GA) response. To understand factors involved in response this deep-sowing-tolerant cell expansion and division that confer on internodes seedlings were investigated. The lengths numbers epidermal cortical cells three cultivars measured. These parameters compared treated with A3 (GA3) or an inhibitor GA biosynthesis,...
