Abstract Background Lactobacillus has been demonstrated to serve a protective role in intestinal injury. However, the relationship between murinus ( L. )-derived tryptophan metabolites and ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury yet be investigated. This study aimed evaluate of -derived I/R underlying molecular mechanism. Methods Liquid chromatograph mass spectrometry analysis was used measure fecal content mice undergoing patients cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) surgery. Immunofluorescence,...
Arsenic trioxide (ATO) is effective in the treatment of hematological malignancies and solid tumors. However, its toxicity side effects are severe, posing an obstacle clinical application. A controlled-release ATO carrier with mitochondrial targeting was constructed this study. The safety efficacy vitro were investigated using a hemolysis test, cytotoxicity, proliferation, migration, apoptosis, other changes cell behavior. further evaluated vivo by hematoxylin–eosin staining, terminal...
We have previously reported the identification and characterization of a novel BRCA1/2 interacting protein complex, BRCC (BRCA1/2-containing complex). BRCC36, one proteins in BRCC, directly interacts with BRCA1, regulates ubiquitin E3 ligase activity BRCC. Importantly, BRCC36 is aberrantly expressed vast majority breast tumors, indicating potential role pathogenesis this disease. To further elucidate functional consequence abnormal expression cancer, we done vivo silencing studies using...
Abstract The biochemical pathways that are disrupted in the genesis of sporadic breast cancers remain unclear. Moreover, present prognosticating markers used to determine prognosis node-negative patient leads probabilistic results, and eventual clinical course is far from certain. Here we identified human TREX complex, a multiprotein complex links transcription elongation mRNA transport, as culprit aggressive cancers. We show whereas p84N5 (called hTREX84) expressed at very low levels normal...
Abstract The α5-nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α5-nAChR) is closely associated with nicotine-related lung cancer, offering a novel perspective for investigating the molecular pathogenesis of this disease. However, mechanism by which α5-nAChR functions in carcinogenesis remains to be elucidated. Lymphocyte antigen 6 (Ly6) proteins, like snake three-finger alpha toxins such as α-bungarotoxin, can modulate nAChR signaling. Ly6E, member Ly6 family, biomarker poor prognosis smoking-induced and...
Purpose: Parkinson's disease (PD) is a common age-dependent neurodegenerative disease.MiR-212 has been demonstrated to exert protective effects in several neurological disorders. The present study aimed investigate the role and underlying molecular mechanism of miR-212 PD. Materials Methods: 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium (MPP + )-induced SH-SY5Y cells were applied as PD model vitro.RT-qPCR was used measure expression Kruppel-like factor 4 (KLF4) mRNA.Western blot analysis performed detect...
The present study investigated the role of cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily E polypeptide 1 (CYP2E1) in development and progression gastric cancer (GC). expression levels CYP2E1 MGC‑803 GC cells normal GES‑1 were via western blotting, it was identified that different between cells. overexpressed using a lentiviral vector GV358. Cell Counting Kit‑8, flow cytometry, cell migration Matrigel invasion assays suggested overexpression promoted proliferation invasion, inhibited apoptosis...
To elucidate mechanisms underlying epidemiological findings of decreased risk glioma development in patients with allergies and asthma, gliomas were induced mice deficient for histidine decarboxylase (HDC), the enzyme responsible histamine production. These exhibited shortened survival enhanced tumor growth compared to wild-type (WT) mice. Previous studies have shown a pivotal role HDC maturation bone marrow (BM)-derived myeloid cells. In our models, brain-infiltrating leukocytes (BIL)...
The pathogenesis of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) has not yet been fully elucidated. An increasing number studies have shown that circular RNAs (circRNAs) play an important role in tumorigenesis and development. aim this study was to investigate the effect CircCFL1 on malignant progression DLBCL.RT-qPCR used detect expression levels miR-107. A dual-luciferase reporter gene experiment conducted verify targeted miR-107 target HMGB1. BrdU, transwell, MTT tests were performed cell...
Numerous lines of evidence have shown that microRNAs (miRNAs) play a vital role in regulating the progression many types cancers, including T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). In this study, potential underlying mechanism and functional miR-141-3p T-ALL cells were determined. We found expression level was significantly downregulated, while tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated 5 (TRAF5) strongly upregulated tissues from patients with compared healthy controls. Subsequently,...
This study aimed to explore the effect of cell division cycle protein 42 (CDC42) on inflammatory response and immune in mice bearing bowel disease (IBD). Trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid was injected into colon establish IBD model. The were divided four groups (n = 4): control, model, Ad5, Ad5-CDC42. After establishing which treated with AD5 empty vector AD5-CDC42 expression served as Ad5 group Ad5-CDC42 group, respectively. mRNA levels interleukin 10 (IL-10), interferon-γ (IFN-γ), IL-4, tumor...
Abstract FOSL1 is frequently overexpressed in multiple types of human cancers including invasive breast and implicated cancer invasion metastasis. However, how remains to be elucidated. Several microRNAs (miRNAs) have been shown target are downregulated cancers. Here, we report that miR-130a a novel targeting miRNA. Using gene expression microarray analysis, found among the most up-regulated genes cells transfected with inhibitors. Transient transfection-immunoblot, RNA-immunoprecipitation...
Abstract Background: Breast cancer (BCa) is a genetically heterogeneous disease and many genes contributing to BCa risk remain be identified. Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) subsequent fine-mapping studies (>50) have strongly implicated genetic alterations at the CCDC170/C6ORF97-ESR1 locus (6q25.1) as being associated with of BCa. ESR1, encoding estrogen receptor, might more obvious candidate for influencing risk. Surprisingly, our analysis using genome-wide differential...
