Transition-metal-oxide/transition-metal nanocomposites, such as NiO/Ni, FeO/Fe, and CoO/Co, have been the subject of much recent investigation (i) because their potential applications (ii) they are good model systems for studies some effects on nanoscale. They used, example, catalysts, fuel-cell electrodes, magnetic memories, etc. When a nanocomposite is composed both ferromagnetic (FM) antiferromagnetic (AFM) nanoparticles, interesting physical properties can occur, phenomenon exchange bias...
The preparation and properties of some complexes cobalt(II), zinc(II) copper(II) with several newly synthesized benzimidazole derivatives (L) are reported. complexes, the general formula [MCl2L2] (M=Co(II), Zn(II)) [CuCl2L(H2O]), have a tetrahedral structure. were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility measurements, IR absorption electronic spectra. antibacterial activitiy benzimidazoles their was evaluated against Erwinia carotovora subsp....
The crystal packing of two spirohydantoins was analyzed through the contribution dimeric motifs and different interactions. cooperative effect rationalized in terms formation a new region, as result F⋯F interaction.
The presented study investigates solidification/stabilization process of hazardous heavy metals/arsenic sludge, generated after the treatment wastewater from a primary copper smelter. Fly ash and fly with addition hydrated lime Portland composite cement were studied as potential binders. effectiveness was evaluated by unconfined compressive strength (UCS) testing, leaching tests (EN 12457-4 TCLP) acid neutralization capacity (ANC) test. It found that introduction into systems increased UCS,...
Single phase MgAl2O4 was made from a one-to-one molar ratio of MgO and Al2O3 powders mixed using ball-milling. Mixtures were subsequently treated in planetary ball mill for 30, 60, 90 120 minutes air. The aim this study to examine composition, microstructure, densification behavior sintered specimens. After sintering dilatometer at 1500?C, the powder converted single MgAl2O4. results show that mechanical activation improved specimens, it reduced onset temperature by approx. 100?C. Based on...
