We present a hundred-watt-level linearly-polarized random fiber laser (RFL) pumped by incoherent broadband amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) source and prospect the power scaling potential theoretically. The RFL employs half-opened cavity structure which is composed section of 330 m polarization maintained (PM) passive two PM high reflectivity Bragg gratings. The 2 nd order Stokes light centered at 1178 nm reaches pump limited maximal 100.7 W with full width half-maximum linewidth 2.58...
Abstract The quantum defect (QD) is an important issue that demands prompt attention in high-power fiber lasers. A large QD may aggravate the thermal load laser, which would impact frequency, amplitude noise and mode stability, threaten security of laser system. Here, we propose demonstrate a cladding-pumped Raman (RFL) with less than 1%. Using gain boson peak phosphorus-doped to enable cladding pump, reduced as low 0.78% 23.7 W output power. To our knowledge, this lowest ever reported RFL....

The operating wavelength range can be tuned from 1114.5 1132.5 nm maximal output power of 5.55 W, and spectral channel tuning also realized number five. effect gain competition the interaction between Raman insertion loss are analyzed. Furthermore, ordered...
Converting carbohydrates into 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF) is an attractive and promising route for value-added utilization of agricultural forestry biomass resource. As important platform compound, 5-HMF possesses high active furan structure with hydroxymethyl aldehyde group production various bio-chemicals materials, meanwhile, which suffer from low stability poor yield during the industrial biorefinery process. Hence, selective high-yield low-cost has attracted extensive attention...
With the development and generalization of endoscopic technology screening, clinical application magnetically controlled capsule gastroscopy (MCCG) has been increasing. In recent years, various types MCCG are used globally. Therefore, establishing relevant guidelines on is great significance. The current containing 23 statements were established based evidence expert opinions, mainly focus aspects including definition diagnostic accuracy, population, technical optimization, inspection...
Acid sphingomyelinase (ASMase)-deficient Niemann-Pick disease (NPD) is caused by mutations in the sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase 1 (SMPD1) gene, resulting accumulation of lysosomes and secondary changes cholesterol metabolism. We hypothesized that oxidation product cholesterol, 7-ketocholesterol (7-KC), might increase plasma patients with ASMase-deficient NPD. In this study, a rapid nonderivatized method measurement 7-KC liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was...
In this paper, we propose and experimentally investigate a linearly polarized narrow-linewidth random fiber laser (RFL) operating at 1080 nm boost the output power to kilowatt level with near-diffraction-limited beam quality using master oscillation amplifier. The RFL based on half-opened cavity, which is composed of Bragg grating 500 m piece polarization-maintained Ge-doped fiber, generates 0.71 W seed an 88 pm full width half-maximum (FWHM) linewidth 22.5 dB polarization extinction ratio...
The famous demonstration of optical rogue waves (RWs), a powerful tool to reveal the fundamental physics in different laser scenarios, opened flourishing time for temporal statistics. Random fiber (RFL) has likewise attracted wide attention due its great potential multidisciplinary demonstrations and promising applications. However, owing distinctive cavity-free structure, it is scientific challenge achieve localized RWs RFLs, whose feedback arises from multiple scattering disordered medium....
Multiwavelength fiber lasers, especially those operating at optical communication wavebands such as 1.3 μm and 1.5 wavebands, have huge demands in wavelength division multiplexing communications. In the past decade, multiwavelength lasers waveband been widely reported. Nevertheless, laser is rarely studied due to lack of proper gain mechanism. Random (RFL), owing its good temporal stability flexible tunability, a great candidate for generation. Here, we reported high power generation RFL...
Summary As excess iron (Fe) is toxic, uptake of this essential micronutrient must be tightly controlled. Previous studies have shown that Oryza sativa (rice) POSITIVE REGULATOR OF IRON HOMEOSTASIS1 (OsPRI1) acts upstream the iron‐related transcription factor 2 (OsIRO2) and OsIRO3 to positively regulate root‐to‐shoot Fe translocation. However, as expression OsPRI1 constitutive it unclear how Fe‐deficiency response turned off prevent toxicity when sufficient. The bHLH OsbHLH061 interacts with...
Temporal intensity fluctuation is one of the inherent features fiber lasers. When utilizing lasers to pump a random Raman laser (RRFL), transfer from lasing could affect output performance significantly. In this paper, we comprehensively compared spectral, temporal, and power characteristics an RRFL pumped by two different lasers—a temporally unstable oscillator stable amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) source. Owing less impact transfer, ASE source-pumped shows <mml:math...
Abstract Development of a high power fiber laser at special waveband, which is difficult to achieve by conventional rare-earth-doped fibers, significant challenge. One the most common methods for achieving lasing wavelength Raman conversion. Phosphorus-doped (PDF), due phosphorus-related large frequency shift peak 40 THz, great choice Here, adopting 150 m mode area triple-clad PDF as gain medium, and novel wavelength-selective feedback mechanism suppress silica-related emission, we build...

Abstract Photoacoustic tomography (PAT) has emerged as a promising non-invasive imaging technology with significant potential for various clinical applications in medical settings. Traditionally, PAT utilizes single laser beam to generate the excitation light (Wang & Hu,2012). Nonetheless, this method often suffers from low signal-to-noise ratios (SNR) and poor image contrast due environmental noise other interfering factors. This paper introduces an interference technique designed focus...
