In inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), many scenarios call for fecal diversion, leaving behind defunctionalized bowel. The theoretical risk of colorectal cancer (CRC) in this segment is frequently cited as a reason resection. Internal hernias are a rare but morbid complication following Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery. The incorporation of Brolin's anti-obstruction stitch has historically demonstrated significant reduction in the incidence internal bypass. We present an ironic and unique case patient with small bowel herniation into defect between stapled closed common enterotomy jejunojejunostomy technical considerations to decrease at this site future.

We present a case of hemorrhagic duodenal ulcer complicated by occlusion the celiac artery (CA) acute median arcuate ligament (MAL) compression. Angiography revealed retrograde flow through gastroduodenal (GDA) to hepatic artery, with at CA origin. This unique presentation required coordinated release MAL reestablish antegrade before pyloroplasty and GDA ligation. The presence preexisting compression should be considered during repair bleeding ulcers embolization or ligation GDA, because...

The presentation is often variable high-index of suspicion must be maintained for accurate timely diagnosis. In this case report, we provide detailed review technical steps taken to successfully resect gastrogastric fistula en-bloc laparoscopically with an unremarkable post-operative course.
