The social-distancing measures implemented as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic have changed socio-economic activities in urban areas. This study analyzes these behavioral changes four Japanese metropolitan areas based on mobility data provided by Google and Apple. results show that regular patterns behavior been significantly disrupted COVID-19, inhibition manifests differently depending upon structure climatic factors.

As urbanization is rapidly progressing worldwide, the cities need to assess their quality of life (QOL) not only check infrastructure but also keep pace with changing citizens' sense values and lifestyles. We propose an integrated method evaluate urban QOL from detailed spatial aspects a city subjective preferences its citizens. In this study, we collected data setting attributes at 500-m mesh scale, that vary based on individual attributes, across five metropolitan areas in Japan. Our...

Two novel tropoloisoquinoline alkaloids, Pareirubrines A and B, have been isolated as antileukemic substances from Cissampelos pareira (Menispermaceae), together with the same skeleton grandirubrine isoimerubrine. Their structures were elucidated by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies, their solid state tautomeric forms examined X-ray crystallographic analysis.

In autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), renal cyst lesions predominantly arise from collecting ducts (CDs). However, relevant CD models using human cells are lacking. Although previous reports have generated in vitro tubule induced pluripotent stem (hiPSCs), therapeutic drug candidates for ADPKD not been identified. Here, by establishing expansion cultures of hiPSC-derived ureteric bud tip cells, an embryonic precursor that gives rise to CDs, we succeed advancing the...

Injection of anti-Thy-1 antibody into a rat induces immediate glomerular cell death and subsequent development glomerulonephritis. Whether the in this model is apoptotic has yet to be determined. Recent vivo studies on thymocyte have elucidated that Thy-1 molecule can activate intracellular signaling for apoptosis. We present a systematic procedure for mapping data sequences into codewords of prefix-synchronized code (PS-code), as well performing the inverse mapping. A PS-code, proposed by Gilbert (1960), belongs to subclass comma-free codes and is useful recover word synchronization when errors have occurred in stream codewords. PS-code defined set with property that each codeword has known sequence prefix, followed coded which this prefix not allowed occur. The largest among all PS-codes same length...

Integer codes are very flexible and can be applied in different modulation schemes. A soft decoding algorithm for integer will introduced. Comparison of symbol error probability (SEP) versus signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) between hard using coded shows us that we obtain at least 2dB coding gain. Also, shall compare our results with trellis (TCM) because their similar schemes complexity.
