This paper is concerned with the problem of stability analysis for delayed linear discrete-time systems (DLDTSs). In order to obtain necessary and sufficient criteria exponential DLDTSs, we first address boundary value (BVP) matrix difference equations, which a generalization Lyapunov equation (LME) delay-free systems. Also, existence, uniqueness, properties solution BVP are investigated. addition, introduce new concept-Lyapunov that can be viewed as unique positive definite LME. It should...

The brain, as a complex system, achieves state transitions through interactions among its regions and also performs various functions. An in-depth exploration of brain is crucial for revealing functional changes in both health pathological states realizing precise function intervention. Network control theory offers novel framework investigating the dynamic characteristics transitions. Existing studies have primarily focused on analyzing energy required transitions, which are driven either...

Understory vegetation is an important component in forest ecosystems. However, the effects of understory on soil properties subtropical forests are not fully understood. We thus conducted experimental manipulative study two young fast-growing plantations—Eucalyptus urophylla and Acacia crassicarpa—in southern China, by removing both plantations, to estimate microclimate, N mineralization. Our data showed that, after 6 months, removal (UR) plantations had greatly increased surface luminous...

This article considers the design of prescribed-time unknown input observers (PTUIOs) for linear systems, i.e., that estimate state a system with inputs at prescribed finite time. To this end, generalized inverse is used first to transform form amenable observer design. Then, PTUIOs are designed by using periodic delayed output so their estimation errors converge zero Both full-order and reduced-order considered. For design, an alternative approach also adopted, based on transformation...

Fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) has been reported to play divergent roles in white adipogenic differentiation, however, whether it regulates thermogenesis of fat tissues remains largely unknown. We therefore aimed investigate the effect FGF2 on and elucidate underlying mechanisms. FGF2-KO wild-type (WT) mice were fed with chow diet high-fat (HFD) for 14 weeks. The brown mass, thermogenic capability, respiratory exchange ratio, hepatic deposition determined. In vitro experiments conducted...

This paper considers the prescribed-time stabilisation of linear system with matched unknown external disturbance. The disturbance is supposed to be generated by an exogenous system. In case only the~output signal original available for feedback, a observer augmented consisting and designed. Then problem can achieved using state-and-disturbance-observer-based periodic delay feedback. Furthermore, in state measurable, three classes observers are also solved applying disturbance-observer-based...
