We present an investigation on absorbing film assisted laser induced forward transfer (AFA-LIFT) of fungus (Trichoderma) conidia. A KrF excimer beam [λ=248nm,FWHM=30ns (FWHM, full width at half maximum)] was directed through a quartz plate and focused onto its silver coated surface where conidia the Trichoderma strain were uniformly spread. The fluence varied in range 0–2600mJ∕cm2 each pulse transferred pixel target material. average irradiated area 8×10−2mm2. After procedure, yeast extract...

The machining process of transparent materials using the laser induced backside wet etching (LIBWE) procedure was studied. In course this, experimental investigations and numerical calculations were carried out. Fused silica plates irradiated by an ArF excimer laser, a naphthalene–methyl methacrylate solution as absorbing liquid (concentration 0.85 mol dm−3, absorption coefficient at 193 nm 52 200 cm−1). etch rate dependence on applied fluence (varied from 110 to 860 mJ cm−2) derived depths,...

Laser micromachining of transparent materials is a promising technique for producing micro-optical elements. Several types both direct (e.g. ablation) and indirect laser-induced backside wet etching: LIBWE) procedures have already been developed presented in the last two decades. Here we present new method (laser-induced dry etching (LIBDE)) analogy LIBWE micro nanoprocessing materials. In our experiments 1 mm thick fused silica plates were used as work pieces. The covered with 100 nm silver...

Counterfeiting of the products for healing is as old trading, and it difficult to quantify magnitude problem. It known that substandard and/or falsified (SF) medicines are a growing global threat health, they cause serious social economic damage. The EU has strong legal framework medicines, mandatory meet requirements Directive 2011/62/EU. Abstract We studied the application of pulsed laser ablation (PLA) for particle size reduction in non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Grinding poorly water-soluble NSAID crystallites can considerably increase their solubility and bioavailability, thereby necessary doses be reduced significantly. used tablets ibuprofen, niflumic acid meloxicam as targets. Photoreactive composite thin layers with tunable wetting properties from superhydrophilic to superhydrophobic nature were prepared. To achieve extreme properties, the adequate surface roughness is a crucial factor, which was achieved by incorporation of plasmonic Ag-TiO 2 particles, as polymer filler, into smooth film adjusted hydrophilicity. The initial copolymer films synthesized hydrophilic 2-hydroxyethyl-acrylate (HEA) and hydrophobic perfluorodecyl-acrylate (PFDAc) monomers. In case PFDAc,...
