This paper presents a new algorithm for fuzzy segmentation of MR brain images. Starting from the standard FCM and its bias-corrected version BCFCM algorithm, by splitting up two major steps latter, introducing factor, amount required calculations is considerably reduced. The provides good-quality segmented images very quick way, which makes it an excellent tool to support virtual endoscopy.
The purpose of this study was test the hypothesis that abnormalities inferior frontal white matter are related to negative symptoms schizophrenia.Fractional anisotropy tracts in prefrontal area 10 schizophrenic patients determined by diffusion tensor imaging. Patients were also assessed for severity using Schedule Assessment Negative Symptoms (SANS).Inferior fractional significantly inversely correlated with SANS global ratings symptoms. These data, while preliminary, suggest impaired...
Abstract Prepulse inhibition (PPI) represents an attenuation of the startle reflex following presentation a weak prepulse at brief intervals prior to eliciting pulse. It has been shown that increases in striatal dopamine levels decrease PPI; because release is sensitive estrogen, it likely PPI varies across menstrual cycle. Cross‐sectional studies looking estrogen effects suggest this may be true. In study, we compare phase on between‐group design (men, follicular women, and luteal women) as...
Although it is now widely accepted that the rate of phenotypic evolution may not necessarily be constant across large phylogenies, frequency and phylogenetic position periods rapid remain unclear. In his highly influential view evolution, G. Simpson supposed such evolutionary jumps occur when organisms transition into so-called new adaptive zones, for instance after dispersal a geographic area, climatic changes, or following appearance an novelty. Only recently, large, accurate well...
One of the most critical topics in sports safety today is reduction injury risks through controlled fatigue using non-invasive athlete monitoring. Due to risk injuries, it prohibited use accelerometer-based smart trackers, activity measurement bracelets, and watches for recording health parameters during performance activities. This study analyzes synergy feasibility medical radar sensors tri-axial acceleration sensor data predict physical key indexes by machine learning (ML). The novelty...
Background: Remote diagnosis using collaborative tools have led to multilingual joint working sessions in various domains, including comprehensive health care, and resulting more inclusive care services. One of the main challenges is providing a real-time solution for shared documents presentations on display improve efficacy noninvasive, safe, far-reaching models. Classic optical character recognition (OCR) solutions fail when there mixture languages or dialects case participation different...
Voice-coil motors in computer hard disk drives are shown to make excellent mechanical shutters for light beams. Shutter speeds excess of 10 mm/ms attained, allowing switching a focused beam under μs. Aperture size can be up 32 mm. As little as 1 mW power is required shutter operation. The driven with sinusoidal signal switch at 100 Hz. also suitable x-ray applications. Essentially no modification the drive or actuator most types
Real-time multilingual phrase detection from/during online video presentations—to support instant remote diagnostics—requires near real-time visual (textual) object and preprocessing for further analysis. Connecting specialists sharing specific ideas is most effective using the native language. The main objective of this paper to analyze propose—through DEtection TRansformer (DETR) models, architectures, hyperparameters—recommendation, procedures with simplified methods achieve reasonable...
This paper presents an adaptive neural-network-based ECG signal filtering, and a wavelet transform based QRS detection method. An whitening filter is modeling the lower frequencies of ECG, which are inherently nonlinear nonstationary. In this way estimation error will consist wave. The wavelet-transform-based method determine position these complexes separate normal abnormal beats. structure algorithm allows us to modify in real time basic template, it can be customized individual subject....
