Climate change forecasts indicate that the frequency and intensity of extreme climate events will increase in future; these changes have important effects on ecosystem stability function. An arid region world, Central Asia has ecosystems are extremely vulnerable to weather events. However, few studies investigated resistance resilience this region’s In study, first, drought/wet threshold was calculated based 113-year (1901–2013) standardized precipitation–evapotranspiration index (SPEI);...
Twenty-five diterpenoid alkaloids were isolated from the roots of two Aconitum species. The structures seven new C19-diterpenoid alkaloids, apetaldines A-G (1-7), and 10 known (8-17) apetalum eight (18-25) franchetii var. villosulum elucidated via HRESIMS, IR, NMR data. Alkaloids 1-10, 15, 16, 18-25 screened for their antifeedant activity. Among compounds tested, chasmanthinine (19) showed highly potent activity with an effective concentration 50% feeding reduction (EC50) at 0.07 mg/cm2....
Soil moisture is an important aspect of heat transfer process and energy exchange between land-atmosphere systems, it a key link to the surface groundwater circulation land carbon cycles. In this study, according characteristics study area, advanced integral equation model was used for numerical simulation analysis establish database microwave scattering under sparse vegetation cover. Thus, soil retrieval suitable arid area constructed. The results were as follows: (1) response...
Abstract The Ebinur Lake watershed is an important ecological barrier for environmental changes in the Junggar Basin Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR). Due to tremendous underlying surface environment of past few decades, has become a typical region degradation. Drought affects dynamics and characterizes regional dry wet environments, while dynamic variation lakes vegetation are indicators land surfaces. Thus, quantitative assessment response drought conditions at multiple temporal...
The frequency and intensity of drought are expected to increase worldwide in the future. However, it is still unclear how ecosystems respond drought. Ecosystem water use efficiency (WUE) an essential ecological index used measure global carbon-water cycles, defined as carbon absorbed per unit lost by ecosystem. In this study, we applied gross primary productivity (GPP), evapotranspiration (ET), land surface temperature (LST), normalized difference vegetation (NDVI) data calculate WUE...
An efficient copper(II)-promoted denitrative trifluoromethylthiolation under mild reaction conditions has been developed for vinyl trifluoromethyl thioethers to construct Cvinyl-SCF3 bonds with stable AgSCF3 as a source of the trifluoromethylthio. This system tolerates broad range functional groups commendably achieve high product yield and excellent stereoselectivity E/Z.
Inspired by the functions of leeches, for first time homogeneous materials integrating hydrogels and elastomers were achieved free radical polymerization. 2-Methoxyethyl acrylate (MEA) was used as elastomer monomer Pluronics functionalized with vinyl groups acted cross-linkers to impart hydrogel property materials. The resulting Pluronic/PMEA gels possess a swelling ratio about 210% good water-retaining ability. Compression tests at equilibrium state show stress up 1.6 MPa under 85% strain....
