We report the phenomenon of extraordinary electroconductance in microscopic metal-semiconductor hybrid structures fabricated from GaAs epitaxial layer and a Ti thin film shunt. The passivated emitter and rear solar cells (PERC) have been investigated for industrial application in recent years. For PERC cells, the side is by dielectric films, whereby films are locally opened contact formation.
