Remdesivir has seen extensive use during the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic given its clinically proven efficacy against severe acute respiratory syndrome type 2. There been little cited regarding adverse effects. We present a case of polymicrobial sepsis with Capnocytophaga spp. complicated by purpura fulminans following dog-bite in 50-year-old-man an extensive history opioid use disorder.
