The quasi-three-level 912 nm continuous-wave laser emission under direct diode pumping at 880 into emitting level 4F3/2 of Nd:GdVO4 have been demonstrated. An end-pumped crystal yielded 8.1 W output power for 13.9 absorbed pump power. slope efficiency with respect to the was 0.679. To best our knowledge this is first demonstration such a system. Comparative results obtained 808 nm, highly-absorbing 4F5/2 level, are given in order prove advantages wavelength pumping.

We report for the first time (to our knowledge) cw orange-yellow emission at 589 nm from a compact double-end diffusion-bonded Nd(3+):LuVO(4) self-Raman laser with intracavity frequency doubling in LiB(3)O(5), pumped by an 880 diode laser. A 3.5 W overall diode-to-visible conversion efficiency of 13.3% is achieved through use 18-mm-long double-ended crystal. The M(2) factors are 1.35 and 1.74 both horizontal vertical dimensions, respectively.

We report for the first time (to our knowledge) a diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser emitting at 869 nm based on (4)F(3/2)-(4)I(9/2) transition, generally used 946 emission. Power of 453 mW has been achieved in cw operation with fiber-coupled diode 35.4 W 809 nm. Intracavity second-harmonic generation mode also demonstrated power 118 435 by using BiB(3)O(6) nonlinear crystal. In experiment, we LiNbO(3) crystal lens to complement thermal rod, and obtained good beam quality high output stability.

We report an efficient continuous wave (CW) laser emission at 559 nm by sum-frequency mixing of the fundamental and first-Stokes fields generated within Nd:YVO4 self-Raman laser. Intracavity with LiB3O5 (LBO) nonlinear crystal yielded 890 mW visible yellow-green emission, corresponding to optical conversion efficiency 4.9% respect incident pump power; output power stability over 4 h is better than 5.7%. The beam quality M2 factors are 3.65 4.13 in both horizontal vertical dimensions respectively.

We report a high-efficiency Nd:LuVO4 laser operating at 1066 and 1343 nm, respectively, direct pumped by diode 880 nm. We report for the first time a coherent ultraviolet radiation at 336 nm by intracavity sum-frequency generation of 912 Nd:GdVO4 laser and 532 frequency doubling Nd:YVO4 laser. The is obtained using doubly resonator, type-I critical phase matching CsLiB6O10 (CLBO) crystal mixing. With total diode pump power 31.8 W (13.1 18.7 laser), TEM00 mode 93 mW obtained. stability better than 3.4% beam quality M2 factors are 1.52 1.27 in both horizontal vertical dimensions respectively.
