Replacing conventional dialkylamino substituents with a three-membered aziridine ring in naphthalimide leads to significantly enhanced brightness and photostability by effectively suppressing twisted intramolecular charge transfer formation. This replacement is generalizable other chemical families of fluorophores, such as coumarin, phthalimide, nitrobenzoxadiazole dyes. In highly polar we show that aziridinyl dyes even outperform their azetidinyl analogues aqueous solution. We also proposed...

A Co-catalyzed highly regio- and enantioselective reductive coupling of alkynes aldehydes has been developed under visible light photoredox dual catalysis. variety enantioenriched allylic alcohols have obtained by using unsymmetrical internal commercially available catalyst, chiral ligand, reagents. It is noteworthy that this approach considerable advantages, such as excellent (>95:5 for >40 examples), stereo- (up to >95:5 E/Z), enantioselectivity (92-99% ee, >35 examples) control, mild...

We report here a Ni-catalyzed reductive coupling of aldehydes with widely available 1,3-dienes under visible-light photoredox dual catalysis. The homoallyic alcohols are obtained in broad scope complete branched regioselectivity. Hantzsch ester is used as the hydrogen radical source to oxidize low-valent nickel salt affording Ni–H species. Preliminary mechanistic studies indicate successive single-electron transfer (SET) pathway and generation key π-allylnickel intermediate via insertion...

Abstract Differently substituted 2‐alkoxyfurans (2,3,4‐ or 2,3,5‐trisubstituted furans) were highly regioselectively synthesized by means of the ring‐opening cycloisomerization same cyclopropenyl carboxylates with good yields in different solvents and excellent regioselectivity using [Cu(acac) 2 ] (acac=acetylacetonate) [RuCl (PPh 3 ) as catalyst, respectively. The structures these two types furans established X‐ray diffraction studies. A rationale has been proposed.

Hepatic encephalopathy is a common consequence of liver cirrhosis, but diagnosis can be difficult as it based on clinical criteria alone. We hypothesised that serum prealbumin, cholinesterase and retinol binding protein (RBP) help support the hepatic encephalopathy. We enrolled 306 cirrhotic patients (110 with encephalopathy), 100 chronic hepatitis B 50 healthy controls, measuring routine function tests (ALT, AST, GGT, ALP, bilirubin), albumin, prothrombin time, RBP by methods.
