The study analysed healthcare workers' (HCWs) knowledge, practices, and attitudes regarding coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). A cross-sectional survey was conducted from February 4th to 8th, 2020, involving a total of 1357 HCWs across 10 hospitals in Henan, China. Of those surveyed, 89% had sufficient knowledge COVID-19, more than 85% feared self-infection with the virus, 89.7% followed correct practices COVID-19. In addition level, some risk factors including work experience job category...

This paper proposes an automated blood vessel detection scheme based on adaptive contrast enhancement, feature extraction, and tracing. Feature extraction of small vessels is performed by using the standard deviation Gabor filter responses. Tracing done via forward detection, bifurcation identification, backward verification. Tests over twenty images show that for normal images, true positive rate (TPR) ranges from 80% to 91%, their corresponding false rates (FPR) range 2.8% 5.5%. For...

Abstract HSK3486, a central nervous system inhibitor, has demonstrated superior anesthetic properties in comparison with propofol. Owing to the high liver extraction ratio of HSK3486 and limited susceptibility multi‐enzyme inducer, rifampicin, indicated population is substantial. Nevertheless, order expand indications, it crucial assess systemic exposure specific populations. Moreover, main metabolic enzyme UGT1A9, which shows gene polymorphism population. Thus, scientifically design dose...

: Physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) absorption models are instrumental for assessing drug prior to clinical food effect studies, though discrepancies in predictive and actual outcomes observed. This study focused on immediate release formulations of weakly basic water-insoluble compounds, namely rivaroxaban, ticagrelor, PB-201, investigate factors that could improve the accuracy PBPK regarding effects.

Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) contribute to airway remodelling inflammation in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Recent data suggest that the farnesoid X receptor (FXR), a nuclear traditionally considered as bile acid-activated receptor, is also expressed non-classical acids target tissues with novel functions beyond regulating acid homeostasis. This study aimed investigate potential role of FXR development COPD, well factors affect...

The abundance of drug metabolic enzymes (DMEs) and transporters (DTs) in the human gastrointestinal tract significantly affects xenobiotic exposure circulating system, basis these compounds acting on humans. However, accurately predicting individual healthy subjects remains challenging due to limited data protein levels throughout within same individuals inadequate assessment factors influencing levels. Therefore, we conducted a clinical study obtain biopsy samples from 8 different segments...

Abstract PB‐201 is the second glucokinase activator in world to enter phase III clinical trials for treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Combined with efficacy advantages and friendly absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion characteristics, indication population will be broad. Because liver primary organ elimination, elderly account 20% patients T2DM, it essential estimate exposure specific populations understand pharmacokinetic characteristics avoid hypoglycemia.
