이 글은 구성주의적 정보 철학의 관점에서 ‘주체’의 개념사 구성을 시도해 보고 그 구성요소에 대한 평가를 내림으로써 특성의 한 면을 간접적으로 구체화하는 것을 목표로 한다. 구성주의의 핵심은 모든 지식은 구성적이라는 것으로 배경에는 세계 내 경험적 존재자는 주관적 그가 경험한 사태를 구성하여 지식화, 정보화한다는 전제가 놓여있다. 한편 철학은 자체의 의미와 이와 관련된 원리와 개념에 메타적인 분석과 설명을 제시하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 이해 위에서 박충식은 구성적 철학(2018)이라는 개념을 만들어 이를 관점의 철학으로 정의한다. 정보철학으로 고쳐 기술할 것이다. 이론에 따르면 자기 생산적 정보처리체계는 그것이 놓여진 환경에서 자신의 존재를 지속하기 위해 정보를 구성하는 기능적인 계산 모델이다. 철학 관점에서는 보면 철학적 개념으로서의 ‘주체’는 단순히 만들어진 불과하다. 데카르트부터 루만에 이르는 서양 지성사의 주체 구성해 보고, 각 장면을 이론을 평가한다.
