A theory of crack healing in polymers is presented terms the stages healing, namely, (a) surface rearrangement, (b) approach, (c) wetting, (d) diffusion, and (e) randomization. The recovery ratio R mechanical properties with time was determined as a convolution product, = Rh (t)*φ(t), where (t) an intrinsic function, φ(t) wetting distribution function for interface or plane material. reptation model chain tube used to describe self-diffusion interpenetrating random coil chains which formed...

Consider a ring of N qubits in translationally invariant quantum state. We ask to what extent each pair nearest neighbors can be entangled. Under certain assumptions about the form state, we find formula for maximum possible nearest-neighbor entanglement. then compare this with entanglement achieved by ground state an antiferromagnetic consisting even number spin-1/2 particles. that, though typically does not maximize relative all other states, it so states having zero z component spin.

Abstract We propose that crack healing in polymers occurs by the stages of surface rearrangement, approach, wetting, diffusion, and randomization. The wetting diffusion are responsible for majority mechanical property recovery or healing, control intrinsic function R h (t). Supercritical fluid processing was found be quite effective at removing low vapor pressure monomers from polymers and for fractionation according molecular weight. This resulted in high purity materials with M̄w/M̄n ratios. The polymer fractions obtained analyzed by size exclusion chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, melt rheometry. Their physical chemical properties are described.
