We construct a heavy fermion representation for twisted bilayer graphene (TBG) systems. Two local orbitals (per spin/valley) are analytically found, which exactly the maximally localized zero modes of continuum Hamiltonian near AA-stacking center. They have similar properties to Wannier functions found in recent study, but also clear interpretation as zeroth pseudo Landau levels (ZLL) Dirac fermions under uniform strain field created by twisting. The electronic states TBG can be viewed...

ABSTRACT This study develops a damping modification factor (DMF) model for offshore ground motion from subduction slab earthquakes that is function of the ratio, spectral period, moment magnitude, focal depth, and rupture distance. The DMF values 10 ratios between 1% 30% 34 periods ranging 0.03 to 5.0 s are calculated using 2803 ground-motion records obtained S-net in Japan. An examination residuals median model, which considers deployment methods, indicates influenced by parameters such as...

To better understand the origin, migration, and evolution of melts in lithospheric mantle their roles on destruction North China Craton (NCC), we conducted a petrological geochemical study quartz-bearing orthopyroxene-rich websterite xenolith from Hannuoba, NCC, its hosted melt fluid inclusions. Both clinopyroxene orthopyroxene contain lots primary secondary High-temperature microthermometry inclusions combined with Raman spectroscopy analyses coexisting shows that entrapment temperature...

Under the background of climate change, extreme wind events occur frequently in Northeast China, and soil erosion caused by these has attracted progressively more attention from scholars. We used methods linear analysis, Sen+Mann-Kendal trend Kriging interpolation to analyze spatial temporal characteristics China 2005 2020, RWEQ estimation model calculate annual typical sites under conditions. The results showed that frequency presented a significant upward with an increase 2.9 times·a

Correlated electron states are at the root of many important phenomena including unconventional superconductivity (USC), where electron-pairing arises from repulsive interactions. Computing properties correlated electrons, such as critical temperature $T_c$ for onset USC, efficiently and reliably microscopic physics with quantitative methods remains a major challenge almost all models materials. In this theoretical work we combine matrix product (MPS) static mean field (MF) to provide...

Abstract The experiments are conducted to determine the impact of anomalous surface sensible heating (SH) from South China Sea (SCS) on incipient vortex storm Mindulle (2010) formation by using Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model, including control-run with sensitivity-run without such heating. Significant is seen, failing generate related SH. Based atmospheric thermal adaption theory, outputs reveal that genesis can be divided into stage strengthen stage. At stage, SH favoured...
