The first examples of anion radical cycloaddition induced by homogeneous electron transfer from chemical agents are described. Specifically, upon exposure to chrysene radical, bis(enone) substrates found engage in stereoselective intramolecular [2 + 2] cycloaddition. These studies, along with the corresponding electrochemically initiated reactions, provide insight into this fundamentally new pattern reactivity and support feasibility expanding novel reaction type.

The prevalently used immunoassays for fast screening of aftatoxins (AFs) usually cannot meet the requirement simultaneous determination total AFs (aflatoxin B1 + aflatoxin B2 G1 G2) due to deficiency highly group-specific antibodies. This paper describes a two-step chromogenic reaction based method quantitatively detect in rice using colorimetric measurement without antibody. In method, colorless transform into green-colored indophenol products through with sodium hydroxide and...

Exposure of easily reduced aromatic bis(enones) 1a−1e to the methyl Gilman reagent Me2CuLi·LiI at 0 °C in tetrahydrofuran solvent provides products tandem conjugate addition−Michael cyclization, 2a−2e, along with [2 + 2] cycloaddition, 3a−3e. Complete partitioning alkylation and cycloaddition pathways may be achieved by adjusting loading reagent, rate addition concentration reaction mixture. We introduce, for the first time, an inorganic base-mediated cyclization and auto-oxidation of bisallenones/bisalkynones. This reaction is realized under mild conditions through precise control base atmosphere, providing a wide range structurally diverse fused-pyran derivatives with moderate to excellent yields. Utilizing KOH as initiator nitrogen series novel cyclohexane-fused pyran was obtained primary product. In contrast, aerobic Na

Abstract It is still a challenge to develop green, simple and effective approaches prepare aromatic iodides. Herein, novel green strategy for the direct mono‐iodination of compounds starting with molecular iodine has been developed. The uses ceria nanocrystals decompose hydrogen peroxide, giving hydroxyl radicals which are demonstrated experimentally computationally be crucial promote iodinations.

Recent reports that purine-rich vegetables and bean products do not cause higher levels support this theory. Why excessive a gout has been unclear. A new method has been proposed to realize the visual detection of Cr 3+ using 4-nitrobenzenethiol (4-NBT) and 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4-MBA) modified silver nanoparticles ( AgNPs ). The presence induces aggregation through cooperative metal–ligand interaction, resulting in a color change from bright yellow purple. Consequently, could be monitored by colorimetric response UV-Vis spectrophotometer or even naked eyes. We firstly used ethylene diamine tetraacetic (EDTA) as masking agent...
