The emerging metasurfaces with the exceptional capability of manipulating an arbitrary wavefront have revived holography unprecedented prospects. However, most reported metaholograms suffer from limited polarization controls for a restrained bandwidth in addition to their complicated meta-atom designs spatially variant dimensions. Here, we demonstrate new concept vectorial based on diatomic consisting metamolecules formed by two orthogonal meta-atoms. On basis simply linear relationship...

Robust aerogels derived from a thiol-ene clicked bridged silsesquioxane precursor are obtained by facile vacuum-drying method. With rather low densities, the flexible still robust enough to bear at least 20 repeating compressions and further functionalization wet doping. The durability preparation procedure promise aerogels' wider practical applications.

Photoluminescence (PL) lifetime studies of CuInS2 nanocrystals (NCs) are carried out after synthesizing core-shell and compositionally variant structures using time-resolved PL spectroscopy. Long-lived excited state decay times observed for the NCs, very much dependent on size NCs. The emission bands attributed to surface (shorter lifetime) defect (longer related trap states, respectively. dynamics NC’s excited-state carriers is sensitive surface, intrinsic defects, extrinsic impurities....

Abstract Nanoscale bimetallic particles have important applications in the environmentally catalytic reactions at room temperature because of novel physical and chemical properties. We report an innovative situ synthesis method functionalizing microfiltration membranes with highly reactive core/shell Fe/Ni Fe/Pd nanoparticles. The structure was confirmed by X‐ray energy dispersive spectroscopy mapping images. Using TCE PCB as model compounds, reactivity membrane‐immobilized nanoparticles...

Dynamic speckle illumination-based quantitative phase microscopy (QPM) offers the capability to eliminate coherent noise and achieve depth selection; however, low coherence of illumination restricts flexibility in objective lens selection. An asymmetric reflective method is proposed this Letter. The field correlation maintained through identical exit pupil diameters objectives both interference arms. Moreover, a light source system with delay line compensates for optical path difference...

This research deals with the modeling and experimental verification of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) dechlorination using a porous membrane reactor embedded Fe/Pd nanoparticles. We synthesized core/shell nanoparticles in polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) microfiltration membranes functionalized poly(acrylic acid) (PAA). PAA functionalization was achieved by situ free radical polymerization acrylic acid pores. Target ferrous ions were then introduced into ion exchange process. Subsequent...
