It is of great significance for fluid management under microgravity to explore the morphological characteristics annular bubbles in a tank with central column. The propellant residue can be evaluated by measuring bubble's volume, and estimation mass center tanks also needs know liquid distribution. An experiment cabin designed experiments filling emptying model are carried out aboard Chinese Space Station. Two kinds surrounding column observed experimentally first time, which appear during...
The capillary driven flow of a liquid in tube elliptical cross section under microgravity is studied this paper. All the factors including dynamic contact angle between and wall, pressure loss caused by convection, viscous resistance reservoir, curved surface reservoir are considered. equation derived. can be transformed into an that combines external forces on control body tube. In case low Ohnesorge (Oh) numbers, behavior divided three time domains using force as driving balances with...
Surface tension tanks are the most widely used satellite propellant tanks, which use liquid surface for transportation and gas-liquid separation to provide pure thruster. As second generation tank, plate type tank has characteristics of simple structure, easy processing high reliability, represents development direction tanks. In this paper, drop tower experiments investigate transfer speed deflectors in corresponding numerical simulation is carried out Fluent with Volume Fluid method.
Second order perturbation solutions of profiles bubbles suspended in liquid and gas interfaces when all sinks the bottom under different accelerations are derived. Six procedures developed based on these solutions, they divided into two types. One takes coordinates endpoints as inputs, other volume or inputs. Numerical simulation performed with Volume Fluid method numerical results good agreement predictions procedures. Besides, bigger acceleration, more flatter bubble will be until to...
Abstract Tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO) is a rare disease known as hypophosphoric (HO). Phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor (PMT) the pathological basis of most TIO patients and caused by abnormal secretion fibroblast growth factor 23 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 23, PMT). FGF-23 causes renal phosphate consumption hypophosphatemia often subject to repeated examination treatment before diagnosis, process definitive diagnosis usually lasts several years. Most these can be cured surgical resection...
Abstract Propellant tanks provide non-entrained propellant for thrusters of satellites, which plays an important role in space mission. And the fluid transfer efficiency is key to supply propellant. An experiment cabin containing two different scaled tank models are designed and experiments liquid reorientation under microgravity carried out Chinese Space Station. Experiment results present high transportation kinds management devices. Finite element established verified by simulation...
Second-order perturbation solutions of profiles bubbles suspended in liquid and liquid–gas interfaces when all sinks the bottom with different accelerations are derived. Most space shuttle fuel tanks use a center column to hold the Propellant Management Device (PMD). This paper analyzes gas–liquid interface state in with central during microgravity experiments conducted Chinese Space Station. It launches an extended study investigate under different gravity conditions. Using perturbation method and boundary layer theory, we numerically calculated morphology of varying conditions based on Young–Laplace equation. The results were then compared those obtained...
Recent observational studies have indicated that psychiatric disorders were associated with risk of bone mineral density (BMD) reduction. But the causal relationship between neuroticism and BMD remained unclear. By using public genome-wide association study data, a 2-sample bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) was performed to investigate (heel BMD, forearm femoral neck lumbar spine total body BMD). Inverse-variance weighted, weighted median, MR-Egger used assess effects. Multiple...
In space, because the gravity basically disappears and secondary forces such as surface tension force play a major role, fluid behavior is quite different from that of ground. Therefore, it necessary to deeply explore laws characteristics in microgravity environment. The plate-type tank uses components manage environment, so provide thruster with gas-free propellant, which great significance for precise attitude control orbit adjustment spacecraft. Plate-type often include plates certain...
Abstract Nowadays a propellant residual gauging method based on the thermal response of tanks’ wall is developed. And liquid distribution and meniscus height have great effects response. Profiles free surfaces in revolved containers under microgravity are studied through theoretical analysis numerical simulation this paper. The analytical formula for static profile surface spherical tank established. It shows that section circle cut off by wall. For given geometry tank, volume contact angle,...
In this paper, the method of circularly polarized folded transmitarray antenna (CPFTA) is first proposed and studied based on (TA). The special element TA to reflect x-polarized waves as a ground, transmit y-polarized convert circular wave with arbitrary phase shift at same time in operating frequency band. A reflective polarizer metasurface applied twist polarization incident by 90°. whole CPFTA, including feeding source microstrip antenna, can be fully integrated.
Abstract Plate type surface tension tanks have been widely used in satellites. Capillary phenomena between plates is a important of liquid behaviour space. with varying width and distance under microgravity are analyzed detail this paper. A second-order differential equation for the meniscus height derived it can be solved by using fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. To ensure model’s accuracy during entire flow process, influences dynamic angle, friction force, convective pressure loss...
