A symmetric squaraine and its related non-symmetric structure are shown to have comparable efficiencies in DSCs, but with undoubtedly advantages the low cost easiness of synthesis for symmetrical structure.
A microwave-assisted method for the preparation of a wide color range 2,3,3-trimethylindolenine-based squaraines and their intermediates is described. This practical approach allows rapid both symmetrical nonsymmetrical squaraine dyes, reducing reaction time from days to minutes with more than 2-fold improvement in product yields when compared conventional methods.
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between collagen type I/III ratio and scarring in patients who underwent immediate reconstruction with round block technique (RBT) after breast conservation surgery. Seventy-eight were included, demographic clinical characteristics recorded. measured using immunofluorescence staining digital imaging, assessed Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS). mean VSS scores 1.92 ± 2.01 1.79 1.89, as by two independent plastic surgeons, good reliability...
We report that Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) regulates both formation and patterning of tracheal cartilage by controlling the expression pattern level chondrogenic gene, Sox9. In Shh(-/-) tracheo-esophageal tubes, Sox9 is transient not restricted ventrally to site chondrogenesis, absent at time resulting in failure formation. Inhibition signalling with cyclopamine cultures prevents formation, while treatment explant exogenous Shh peptide rescues Both Bmp4 Noggin rescue phenotype culture, promoting...
The power conversion efficiency of a dye-sensitized solar cell with tailored squaraine dye enhanced by 47%, due to Förster resonance energy transfer from CdSe quantum dots the dye. incident photons collection electrons indicate panchromatic response visible near-infrared spectrum.
Frequency modulation reflectometer has been developed to measure the plasma density profile of Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research tokamak. Three reflectometers are operating in extraordinary polarization mode frequency range Q band (33.6–54 GHz), V (48–72 and W (72–108 GHz) up 7 × 1019 m−3 when toroidal magnetic field is 2 T on axis. The antenna installed inside vacuum vessel. A new window by using 50 μm thick mica film 0.1 mm gold gasket. filter bank low pass filter, notch...
Rat whiskers are an exceptional sensing system, extracting information from their surrounding environment. Inspired by this concept, active whisker sensors measure various physical and geometric properties through contact with objects. However, previous research has focused on measuring the object geometry, often overlooking potential for broader applications of sensors. Herein, sensor that enables simple measurement surface such as hardness adhesiveness is reported. Composed motor‐, wire‐,...
Background: A nondestructive test is commonly used to inspect the surface defects and internal structure of an object without any physical damage. X-rays generated from electron accelerator or a tube are one methods for testing. The high penetration through materials with low atomic numbers makes it difficult discriminate between these using X-ray imaging. interaction characteristics neutrons can supplement limitations imaging in material discrimination.Materials Methods: radiation image...
Two-photon endoscopy based on a gradient-index lens has been widely utilized for studying cellular behaviors in deep-lying tissues with minimal invasiveness vivo. Although the efficient collection of emitted light is critical to attain high-contrast spatiotemporal information, intrinsic low numerical aperture endoscopic probe poses physical limitation. We report simple solution overcome this limit by incorporating reflective waveguide ensheathing probe, which improves efficiency...
Abstract In this work, we proposed a new damage model for estimating radiation-induced direct to biomolecular systems and validated its the effectiveness pBR322 plasmids. The estimates by: (1) simulation geometry modeling using coarse-grained (CG) technique replace minimum repeating units of molecule with single bead, (2) approximation threshold energy radiation through CG potential calculation, (3) calculation cumulative absorption each event in microscopic regions models Monte Carlo track...
Objectives : To determine a dose of medicine precisely and conveniently, this study was tried to specify the weight Bangyakhappyun pills by measuring in terms grams. Methods 1. Selected typical prescriptions order size formula written down Bangyakhappyun. 2. Pulverized each prescription weighed one Bangchonbi(方寸匕). 3. Weighed 10 seeds Firmiana simplex sized one(梧子大) which were mixed with auxiliary materials such as water, honey, starch paste, etc. 4. The dosages other type forms measured...
As vessel diameter decreases, reperfusion after anastomosis becomes more difficult. When a blood is sutured, its inner narrower owing to the thickness of suture material and number sutures. To minimize this, we attempted replantation using 2-point technique. We reviewed cases arterial in vessels with less than 0.3 mm during performed over four-year period. In all cases, close observation was followed by absolute bed rest. If not achieved, tie-over dressing applied, hyperbaric oxygen therapy...
