This study evaluated the cytotoxicity of fusidic acid-loaded HA hydrogels on different cell types. Results show significant cytotoxicity, especially at concentrations above 0.1 %, with MC3T3 cells being most sensitive. These findings highlight importance considering cell-specific responses and cytotoxic effects when designing antibiotic-loaded for biomedical applications.
