Abstract Thermochemical conversion is a highly effective method for upgrading organic solid wastes into high‐value materials, contributing to carbon neutrality and peak, emission goals. It also serves as pathway develop energy‐efficient electromagnetic wave absorbing (EMWA) materials. In this study, fish skin successfully in situ nitrify Prussian Blue Fe 3 N under external thermal driving condition, resulting high saturation magnetization utilized. The N@C demonstrates outstanding EMWA...

Abstract MXenes are 2D materials known for their unique electromagnetic wave absorption (EMWA) properties arising from varied composition and structure. In this study, a one‐step ice‐assisted process is utilized to directly transform MXene into 3D single‐layer aerogels (SMAs). Furthermore, the interlayer spacing of SMAs optimized by incorporating helical carbon nanotubes (HCNTs). Because van der Waals interaction between nanosheets HCNTs, assembled HCNT@MXene (HMAs) exhibited regular porous...

The abnormal growth of grains near the surface NdCeFeB magnets reduces number grain boundaries, and meanwhile, formation REFe2 phase also hinders diffusion rare earth elements, both which limit enhancement magnetic properties. This poses a certain challenge for preparation high Ce content magnets. In this work, it is found that TbPrNdAl source can suppress mutual between in main elements source, thereby restraining inhibiting phase. Eventually, more uniform core-shell structure thin...

Abstract Horizontal visibility and water vapor pressure data from 483 stations in China 1960 to 2009 were used inverse aerosol optical depth (AOD) using a new series of parameters, which revised for each station the polybasic nonlinear regression method based on monthly Multiangle Imaging Spectroradiometer (MISR) AOD during 2001–2005. Monthly retrievals 2006 parameters compared with MISR same period. retrieved can capture extreme values better than inversion result original root‐mean‐square...

This study investigated the impact of various sintering temperatures on microstructure and performance titanium matrix composites (TMCs) reinforced with high-entropy alloy (HEA) particles. The results indicated that at 1000 °C, a Ti, Co, Fe, Ni-rich solid solution is formed inside HEA, Al Cr elements diffuse into matrix; 1050 HEA undergoes intense diffusion large number Ti3Al phases are in matrix. As temperature increased, microhardness, tensile strength, elongation TMCs initially rose then...

The incidence of bladder cancer in traditional green tea-consuming countries was dramatically lower than low countries. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), an active ingredient extracted from tea, showed effective inhibition formation and progression many tumors. However, whether autophagy involved this tumor-suppression mechanism EGCG on still unclear. In study, we demonstrated concentration EGCG-induced proliferation increased apoptosis cell lines (5,637 T24 cells) indicated by the...

Grain boundary diffusion (GBD) can maximize the utilization of heavy rare earth (HRE) elements, and achieve purpose greatly improving coercivity without reducing remanence maximum magnetic energy product. In this work, based on GBD technique, high Nd-Fe-B magnets are produced by using Dy30Cu70 alloy as source. The results show that, with increasing temperature, is enhanced monotonously from 1103 kA/m for as-prepared magnet to 1428 processed at 900 °C, 29.5%, decreased slightly....
