Abstract Accurately distinguishing between enantiomeric molecules is a fundamental challenge in the field of chemistry. However, there still significant room for improvement both selectivity (K R ( S ) /K and binding strength most reported macrocyclic chiral receptors to meet demands practical application scenarios. Herein, we synthesized water‐soluble conjugated tubular host—namely, corral[4]BINOL—using 1,1′‐bi‐2‐naphthol (BINOL) derivative as repeating unit. The backbone endows...

The precise recognition and sensing of steroids, a type vital biomolecules, hold immense practical value across various domains. In this study, we introduced corral[4]BINOLs (C[4]BINOLs), pair enantiomeric conjugated deep-cavity hosts, as novel synthetic receptors for binding steroids. Due to the strong hydrophobic effect their deep nonpolar, chiral cavities, two enantiomers C[4]BINOLs demonstrated exceptionally high affinities (up 10

Abstract Background Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary malignant tumor in central nervous system. Paclitaxel (PTX) a well‐established and highly effective anti‐cancer drug for peripheral solid tumors. However, application of PTX GBM hindered by several limitations, including poor water solubility, restricted entry across blood–brain barrier (BBB), enhanced excretion efflux transporters. P‐glycoprotein (P‐gp) crucial transporter that abundantly present cerebral vascular endothelial...

The development of artificial receptors that combine ultrahigh-affinity binding and controllable release for active guests holds significant importance in biomedical applications. On one hand, a complex with an exceedingly high affinity can resist unwanted dissociation induced by dilution effect interferents within physiological environments. the other stimulus-responsive guest is essential precisely activating its function. In this context, we expanded hydrophobic cavity surface...

For prevention of the coronavirus disease 2019 caused by novel SARS-CoV-2, an effective vaccine is critical. Herein, several potential peptide epitopes from spike protein SARS-CoV-2 have been synthesized and covalently linked with cross-reactive material (CRM197). Immunization mice resulting conjugates induced high titers IgG antibodies against protein. Importantly, post-immune sera effectively neutralized pseudovirus, suggesting identified are protective, these promising leads for...

Abstract Cytotoxic T‐lymphocytes (CTLs) are central for eliciting protective immunity against malignancies and infectious diseases. Here, the first time, partially oxidized acetalated dextran nanoparticles (Ox‐AcDEX NPs) with an average diameter of 100 nm fabricated as a general platform vaccine delivery. To develop effective anticancer vaccines, Ox‐AcDEX NPs conjugated representative CTL peptide epitope (CTLp) from human mucin‐1 (MUC1) sequence TSAPDTRPAP (referred to Mp1) immune‐enhancing...

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a life-threatening acute hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease, with early brain injury (EBI) being the main cause of high mortality and severe neurological dysfunction. Oxidative stress plays crucial role in pathogenesis EBI. In this study, we synthesized antioxidant nanoparticles based on self-assembled oleanolic acid (OA) using solvent volatilization method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron...

When multiple inverters are connected to the grid, due uncertainty of internal model and presence external disturbances, grid-connected current waveform will deviate from expectation. In this paper, Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) strategy is presented suppress perturbations, moreover, first-order ADRC parameters designed. Finally, MATLAB/Simulink utilized verify control ADRC. The simulation results demonstrate that method can disturbance effectively.
