The present paper gives an experimental and theoretical study of the transmission process protons within 100 keV to 300 energy range through a quartz tube, mm in length 1.6 diameter. It has been established that pass tube without losses. proton beam goes even when axis is tilted from axis. angular width protons' curve versus angle incidence makes about 3°. As authors suggest, this effect due self-organization beam–wall charge system. Computer simulation shown distribution on wall axially...
A new type deflector of a charged particle beam based on pyroelectric crystals is proposed and demonstrated experimentally. The transverse electric field arises in the gap between two vacuum because effect appearing when temperature gradient applied to both crystals. In proof-of-principle experiment, we deflection low-energy electron beam. application deflectors as bending elements undulator for production radiation proposed.
We investigated the transmission of 10 keV electrons through insulating nanocapillaries various diameters from 200 nm up to 800 with high intensity current (∼56 nA/mm2). demonstrate a way identify quasi-elastic total by looking at characteristic X-rays induced transmitted electrons. It shows that follow geometrical little deviation. The portion nearly elastic is found be higher for channels diameter nm. data obtained allow us evaluate possibility controlling beam accelerated using dielectric...
Experimental study of electron beam reflection from a single planar surface Plexiglas was made. The distinct guiding effect for the part observed 10 keV electrons within angles incidence 0 to +3 degrees. experiments using Poly plates showed number features process such as dependence on plate quality and material surfaces, divisions into two parts with different behaviour depend tilt angle current value, an elevation in compare initial trace at negative zero plate.
The possibility of increasing the current density a beam fast electrons passes through glass cone-shaped channels was demonstrated in [1]. But fraction that passed conical without loss initial energy not cleared up. Measurements X-ray spectra generated by transmitted copper target mounted vicinity capillary output were performed for detailed study contactless passage 10 keV capillaries. All measurements made at different tilting angles with respect to incident axis. It is shown significant...
