This paper describes the discovery of seven dwarf objects spectral type `L' (objects cooler than latest M dwarfs) in commissioning imaging data taken by Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Low-resolution spectroscopy shows that these have types from L0 to L8. Comparison SDSS and 2MASS photometry for several indicates presence significant opacity at optical wavelengths, perhaps due atmospheric dust. comparison also demonstrates high astrometric accuracy (better 1'' faint sources) both surveys....

We have studied the photoproduction of $\frac{J}{\ensuremath{\psi}}$ mesons on H, Be, Fe, and Pb targets using real photons at a mean energy 120 GeV.
