The presented article introduces a novel approach to the study of plasma–flow interaction in atmospheric pressure plasma jets. A sensitive manometer is constructed and applied for measurement gas flow change induced by discharge. device can be used various types jets operating all kinds atmospheres. proposed method further influence voltage initial rate on effect variation kHz helium jet. It found that most prominent lower flows doubled. Also, results show increase linearly dependent slopes...

In case of temperature measurement utilizing forward-biased pn junction, a polarization current is necessary because it what indicates the diode into an operating mode. Simultaneously, with mode, heats junction and impedes measurement. The usual solution to this problem reduce through diode. If passed only at moment for single brief impulse, average current, as well amount heat given off drastically reduced. described pulsed-diode thermometer has relative error (within 20–100 °C range) ΔT/T=0.25%.

Semiconductor diodes are often used for measuring temperatures. The forward voltage across a diode decreases, approximately linearly, with the increase in temperature. applied method is mainly simplest one. A constant direct current flows through diode, and measured at terminals. that putting it into operating mode, heats up diode. temperature of diode-sensor, i.e., systematic error due to self-heating, depends on intensity predominantly also other factors. results measurements heating by...

Magnetoplasma accelerator (MPA) accelerates and compresses plasma formed within the electrode system during process of capacitor discharge. The lifetime compressed flow is around 150 μs, velocity up to 100 km/s, electron density temperature are close 1023 m−3 2 eV, respectively. Energy energy flux distribution along axis discharge have been measured for different working gases: hydrogen, helium with 5% hydrogen argon aim determination optimal position type gas investigation plasma-material...

The influence of the plasma generation and propagation in a pulsed atmospheric pressure jet on gas flow is experimentally studied. discharge was powered with voltage signals both polarities amplitudes that ranged from 2.8 to 10.8 kV frequencies 1–5 kHz. It operated pure helium small admixture oxygen nitrogen. measurements changes are performed by means laboratory constructed manometer free membrane. Two action mechanisms have been identified described: electrohydrodynamic force mechanism...

Temperature of a commercial AlGaInP/GaInP quantum well laser diode (LD) is measured using two methods: peak wavelength shift and the voltage drop caused by working current. Time evolutions temperature obtained methods during LD self-heating are compared. No significant difference between thus obtained. Correlation radiation frequency established simple four-level semiconductor scheme gap energy estimated. The decreases from 1.66 eV to 1.56 for increase 21 K, at close room temperature. It...

In the algorithm for iterative evaluation of temperature measured by p-n junction in impulse regime two voltages appear as parameters. Their values are limited only operating characteristics diode thermometer, i.e., both must fall within interval determined hardware normal conditions. The choice these allowed seems to be arbitrary; however, analysis expression relative measurement errors leads criterion optimal parameters that allow thermometer operate with maximal resolution and minimal error.

Statistical analysis of experimental results obtained by implementing an impulse diode thermometer with a sensor at constant temperature yields the dependence relative error in determining voltage across diode–sensor ends upon voltages which figure as parameters. Very good agreement analytically estimates completely confirms both applied methods. In such way uniquely determined operating conditions maximal resolution and minimal are obtained.

Abstract Different phosphates and phosphonates have shown excellent coating ability toward magnetic nanoparticles, improving their stability biocompatibility which enables biomedical application. The hyperthermia efficiency of (IDP IHP) (MDP HEDP) coated Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles (MNPs) were evaluated in an alternating field. For a deeper understanding hyperthermia, the behavior investigated MNPs non-alternating field was monitored by measuring transparency sample. To investigate theranostic...
