Pyridyl‐pyrrole ligands usually mimic the polypyridine ligand, and their metal complexes are interesting due to rich coordination chemistry use in molecular devices, biological therapeutics, catalytic transformations. C s ‐symmetric H L 3 ligand Br‐substituted on one of pyridyl rings was designed synthesized by Paal–Knorr pyrrole condensation. Ligand 4 Suzuki‐coupling reaction between 2‐thiopheneboronic acid presence K 2 CO Pd(PPh ) degassed THF/H O solution. Zinc 1 – 5 with were prepared...

The solubility of borneol, camphor, and isoborneol in four solvents (i.e., acetone, ethanol, p-cymene, p-xylene) was measured by the static equilibrium method within temperature range 296.65–348.85 K under atmosphere. fusion points enthalpies borneol were determined differential scanning calorimetry. Apelblat equation, Wilson model, NRTL model employed to correlate data, fits data better. Mixing properties each solute–solvent pair are calculated model.

The study of the instantaneous frictional temperature, stress, and equivalent plastic strain generated when two surfaces are in sliding process plays a significant role understanding friction wear mechanism. A thermomechanical coupling model between rough body flat is established. integrates heat flux considers effects interaction among contact asperities elastoplastic deformation body. problem under this three-dimensional solved by nonlinear finite element methods ABAQUS software. results...

A three-dimensional model of an elasto-plastic rough surface featured by fractal geometry sliding over flat body is developed. The considers the thermo-mechanical coupling and heat flux between surfaces. To obtain transient real contact area, problem under this solved finite element method. results show that area a small fraction nominal during loading process, increases with increase in applied normal load. In initial stage friction sliding, fluctuates noticeably for abrupt change speed,...

We studied the interfacial features of 1-butene/water and extraction process 2-butanol by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The infinite dilute diffusion coefficients 1-butene in water is larger than that 2-butanol, one important reason molecules can form hydrogen bonds with molecules. more soluble under supercritical condition subcritical condition. extract from aqueous solution other conditions.
