To develop a vaccine, which can simultaneously prevent the diseases caused by various pathogenic bacteria in fish, we try to find conserved outer membrane protein (OMP) antigen from different bacterial pathogens. In this study, an OMP fragment of 747 bp (named as Omp-G), was highly seven Aeromonas sequences NCBI database, amplified PCR one sobria strain (B10) and two hydrophila strains (B27 B33) with designed specific primers. The sequence cloned into pGEX-2T (6 × His-tag) vector, expressed...

A comparative study of the optical properties Tm3+ in LiYF4 (YLF) and LiLuF4 (LLF) crystals is presented. Room temperature polarized absorption spectra fluorescence for LYF LLF were measured analysed. By applying Judd–Ofelt approach, intensity parameters Ω2,4,6 calculated. The radiative transition rates, branching ratios lifetimes also obtained. results analysed compared between these two samples, indicating that both them are favourable laser media.

Over-discharge is one of the most common electrical abuses a Li-ion battery suffers. This paper presents preliminary results for failure signatures over-discharged batteries, and proposes rule-based method probabilistic detection. The two methods are verified using experimental battery. proposed were successfully implemented in real-time system detection early warning.

High quality Tm-doped LiLuF4 (Tm:LLF) single crystal was grown by the Czochralski technique. Room temperature absorption spectrum and fluorescence of Tm:LLF were measured analyzed. Based on Judd-Ofelt approach, intensity parameters Ωλ (λ = 2,4,6) calculated to be Ω2 0.93×10-20 cm2, Ω4 1.19×10-20 Ω6 1.75×10-20 cm2. Other spectroscopic that relate laser performance also obtained. Finally, investigated 1.92 μm with a maximum output power 7.16 W

A possible mechanism of susceptibility to superinfection with simian-human immunodeficiency virus (SHIV)-1157ipd3N4 was explored in twelve SHIVSF162P3-infected Chinese rhesus macaques. Based on the kinetics viral replication for second infecting following SHIV-1157ipd3N4 inoculation, monkeys were divided into two groups: those relatively resistant (SIR) and sensitive (SIS). We found that superinfection-resistant macaques had high primary viremia, whereas superinfection-sensitive low...

Under intensive and stressful aquaculture conditions, cultured eels are highly susceptible to virulent Aeromonas sp. infections. To rapidly simultaneously confirm isolate its virulence, a two‐tube multiplex PCR (mPCR) assay incorporating gyrB gene for genus‐specific recognition seven major virulence genes assessment was developed. Eight pairs of primers were designed divided into two groups—gyrB, ahpA, epr aerA in tube 1 alt, act, ast hlyA 2. The optimized mPCR conditions the same except...

Abstract Background Little is known about the comparative susceptibility and differential pathogenic characteristics of Chinese‐origin rhesus macaques upon infection with chimeric SHIV s most commonly applied in experimental research. Methods In vivo infectivity, viral replication, disease progression related to ‐1157ipd3N4, SHIV‐162P3, ‐ KB 9 infections were assessed after intravenous inoculation (n = 10 each). Results 9‐infected monkeys had higher plasma loads than those infected...
