Immunotherapy using checkpoint-blocking antibodies against targets such as CTLA-4 and PD-1 can cure melanoma non-small cell lung cancer in a subset of patients. The presence CD8 T cells the tumor correlates with improved survival. We show that immuno-positron emission tomography (immuno-PET) visualize tumors by detecting infiltrating lymphocytes and, through longitudinal observation individual animals, distinguish responding from those do not respond to therapy. used 89Zr-labeled PEGylated...
Background: Although prurigo nodularis (PN) has a significant burden of disease, little is known about its epidemiology and disease within the United States. We describe characteristics hospitalized patients diagnosed with PN assess factors associated hospitalization. We performed a cross-sectional study using validated survey instruments, finding severe pruritus, reduced quality of life (QoL) and significant mental health burden in diverse cohort patients with prurigo nodularis (PN) from the USA. Itch severity QoL scores were comparable to those found European populations, aside ItchyQoL (higher this US cohort). Black reported higher itch intensity than White patients. More 37% met cutoff for depression, but only 26% had clinical diagnosis depression....
The Student Curriculum Review Team (SCRT) was founded at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM) in 2012 to refine pre-clinical courses. Since then, SCRT has provided a voice for student feedback - offering forums discussion through 'Town Hall meetings' and confidential avenues peer-to-peer comments. Here, we assess perceived efficacy utility among body faculty course directors.A cross-sectional analysis conducted 2019 using an anonymous survey distributed second- (MS2)...
