Seaweed polysaccharides are highly active natural substances having valuable applications. The present study was conducted to characterize the physico-chemical properties of sulphated from three Mediterranean brown seaweeds (Cystoseira sedoides, Cystoseira compressa and crinita) evaluate their anti-radical, anti-inflammatory gastroprotective activities.

The aim of this work was to perform an unprecedented in-depth study on the bioactive phytochemicals Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench Tunisian landrace (Marsaouia). For purpose, its nutritional, aroma volatile, and phenolic profiles were characterized, sundry biological activities assessed in vitro. approximate composition revealed that total dietary fiber as most abundant macronutrient, mainly insoluble fiber, followed by carbohydrates proteins. In addition, okra pods rich K, Ca, Mg, organic...

In this work, an enzymatic sensor, based on a bionanocomposite film consisting of polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) (Chitosan/kappa-carrageenan) doped with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) encapsulating glucose oxidase (GOD) deposited electrode (Au) for sensing, is described. Using the electrocatalytic synergy AuNPs and GOD as model enzyme, variation current (µA) function log concentration (log [glucose]), shows three times higher sensitivity modified (283.9) compared to that PEC/GOD (93.7), detection...
