Lead sulfide (PbS) quantum dots (QDs) have great potential in optoelectronic applications because of their desirable characteristics as a light absorber for near-infrared (NIR) photodetection. However, most PbS-based NIR photodetectors are two-terminal devices, which require an integrated pixel circuit to be practical photosensors. Here we report on PbS QD/indium gallium zinc oxide (InGaZnO, IGZO) metal semiconductor hybrid phototransistors with photodetection capability between 700 and 1400...
Abstract Stretchable electronic devices should be enabled by the smart design of materials and architectures because their commercialization is limited tradeoff between stretchability electrical performance limits. In this study, thin‐film transistors are fabricated using strategies that combine unit process a novel hybrid gate insulator low‐temperature indium gallium tin oxide (IGTO) channel layer stress‐relief substrate structure. Novel dielectric films synthesized molecular structural...
This study aimed to identify pickleball-related injury prevalence and risk factors in older adults evaluate incidence during a pickleball tournament. A cross-sectional analyzed self-reported injuries from the past 12 months new 2018 US Open Pickleball Championships. Data were collected on demographics, play characteristics, psychological attributes. Injury details came self-reports medical tent records. Hierarchical logistic regression identified significant predictors. Of 237 participants,...
A non‐classical organic strain gauge as a voltage signal sensor is reported, using an inverter‐type thin‐film transistor (TFT) circuit, which able to sensitively measure large quantity of elastic (up ≈2.48%), approaches almost folding state. Novel heptazole‐based TFTs are chosen be incorporated in this circuit; solid heptazole has small domain size general. While crystal domain‐pentacene seldom show sufficient current variation upon mechanical bending for tensile strain, these demonstrate...
DNA-base small molecules of guanine, cytosine, adenine, and thymine construct the DNA double helix structure with hydrogen bonding, they possess such a variety intrinsic benefits as natural plentitude, biodegradability, biofunctionality, low cost, toxicity. On basis these advantages, here, we report on unprecedented useful applications guanine layer getter charge trapping when it is embedded into dielectric oxide n-channel inorganic InGaZnO p-channel organic heptazole field effect...
Abstract To enhance the mechanical strength of poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) gels and to provide functional groups for surface modification, we prepared interpenetrating (IPN) hydrogels by incorporating poly(2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate)(PHEMA) inside PEG hydrogels. Formation IPN was confirmed measuring weight percent gain after incorporation PHEMA, as well ATR/FTIR analysis. Synthesis with a high PHEMA content resulted in optically transparent extensively crosslinked lower water 6 ∼ 8‐fold...
To achieve a highly reliable IGZO transistor, silicon nitride thin film, as passivation layer, has been extensively investigated in recent years, mainly due to readily available fabrication, along with good barrier performance. Here, we found out that larger amount hydrogen residuals was observed the PECVD deposited SiNx more stable oxide device exhibited, which is abnormal behavior commonly known literatures. Given FT‐IR and SIMS analysis various controlled film upon different deposition...
A palladium (Pd) nanogap-based thin-film has been connected to an electrically stable amorphous InGaZnO transistor, form a hydrogen sensor demonstrating dramatic sensing capability. As result of the Pd connection transistor source, our circuit greatly enhances hydrogen-induced signal and speed in sense output voltage, clearly resolving minimum content 0.05%. When was gate, extremely limited even less than 0.05% visibly detected through gate voltage shifts. Our results exhibit most promising...
Dual-gate amorphous (a)-InGaZnO thin-film transistors (TFTs) are simply realized using the passivation layer of already fabricated bottom-gate TFTs as top-gate dielectric, so that an electrical biasing either top or bottom gate may control threshold behavior device. By applying a voltage to TFT is serially connected next adjacent TFT, we could form logic inverter with decent gain and desirable transition voltage, while NOR circuit was also achieved by independent dual gates. On one hand,...
Crosswalks present a major threat to pedestrians, but we lack dense behavioral data investigate the risks they face. One of breakthroughs is analyze potential risky behaviors road users (e.g., near-miss collision), which can provide clues take actions such as deployment additional safety infrastructures. In order capture these subtle situations and behaviors, use vision sensors makes it easier study traffic risks. this study, introduce new approach obtain vehicles pedestrians from CCTV...
A non-positional (or suspension) cell microarray was developed using shape-coded SU-8 photoresist microboards for potential application in multiplex and high-throughput cell-based assays. conventional photolithography process on glass slides produced various shapes of micropatterns that had a lateral dimension 200 μm thickness 40 μm. The resultant were detached from the by sonication named “microboards” due to fact much larger than thickness. surfaces modified with collagen promote adhesion,...
Polycrystalline SrTiO3 thin films have been prepared on Si(100) substrates by RF magnetron sputtering. The were deposited at 400 degrees C and annealed 600 C. had a dense microstructure with fine grains. electrical properties of the dramatically controlled annealing. From result capacitance-voltage (C-V) characteristics dielectric constant flat band voltage measured to be 75 -0.31 V, respectively. These oxide high are potentially useful in ULSI applications.
Abstract Ion beams are employed in various fields such as semiconductor manufacturing, surface modification and material science. The uniformity of ion is crucial many applications, but conventional sources that use a single filament often limit the intensity beam.
