Regional metastasis is the single most important prognostic factor in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Abnormal expression of N-myc downstream-regulated genes (NDRGs) has been identified to occur several tumor types and predict poor prognosis. In OSCC, clinical significance deregulated NDRG not fully established. this study, NDRG1 relevance was assessed at gene protein levels 100 OSCC patients followed up by least 10 years. Survival outcome analyzed using a multivariable analysis. Tumor...

The detection of Leishmania spp. through a disposable surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biochip, using mono- and polychromatic sources, is presented here. A highly specific sensitive-constrained synthetic peptide (LC2) derived from mimotope chagasi antigen was immobilized on the sensing region simple protocol. ELISA- PCR-confirmed negative positive sera infected patients were used. Detection IgG showed fast response with good sensitivity specificity for proposed method.
