Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has the characristics of tumor invasiveness, frequent intrahepatic spread and extra hepatic metastases, which affects therapy efficiency prognosis. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is now recognized as a key process in invasion, metastasis generation cancer initiating cells. All-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) currently used potential chemo-therapeutic or chemo-preventive agent because its anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic antioxidant properties. This study...
Food-derived bioactive peptides play critical roles in regulating most biological processes and have considerable biological, medical industrial importance. However, a large number of active data, including sequence, function, source, commercial product information, references other information are poorly integrated. BioPepDB is searchable database food-derived their related articles, more than four thousand peptide entries. Moreover, provides modules prediction hydrolysis-simulation for...
Abstract Although DNA-PK inhibitors (DNA-PK-i) have been applied in clinical trials for cancer treatment, the biomarkers and mechanism of action DNA-PK-i tumor cell suppression remain unclear. Here, we observed that a low dose PARP inhibitor (PARP-i) synthetically suppresses BRCA-deficient cells without inducing DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs). Instead, found fraction localized inside nucleoli, where did not observe obvious DSBs. Moreover, Ku proteins recognize pre-rRNA facilitates DNA-PKcs...
The current reference genome of Mus musculus , GRCm39, has major gaps in both euchromatic and heterochromatic regions associated with repetitive sequences. In this work, we have sequenced assembled the telomere-to-telomere mouse haploid embryonic stem cells. results reveal more than 7.7% previously uncovered sequences genome, including ribosomal DNA arrays pericentromeric subtelomeric regions, as well an additional 140 genes predicted to be protein-coding. This study helps address knowledge genome.
Abstract Noncoding RNAs are known to associate with mitotic chromosomes, but the identities and functions of chromosome-associated in mitosis remain elusive. Here, we show that rRNA species condensed chromosomes during mitosis. In particular, pre-rRNAs such as 45S, 32S, 30S highly enriched on chromosomes. Immediately following nucleolus disassembly prophase, rRNAs released coat each chromosome at prometaphase. Using unbiased mass spectrometry analysis, further demonstrate chromosome-bound...
Abnormal nuclear enlargement is a diagnostic and physical hallmark of malignant tumors.Large nuclei are positively associated with an increased risk developing metastasis; however, large nucleus inevitably more resistant to cell migration due its size. The present study demonstrated that the size primary colorectal cancer (CRC) cells at advanced stage was larger than early stage. In addition, CRC liver metastases were those corresponding tissues.CRC sorted into large-nucleated (LNCs)...
The BRCA1/BARD1 complex plays a key role in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) both somatic cells and germ cells. However, underlying molecular mechanism by which this mediates DSB is not fully understood. Here, we examined XY body male cells, where DSBs are accumulated. We show that recruitment to unsynapsed axis mediated pre-ribosomal RNA (pre-rRNA). Similarly, associates with pre-rRNA only forms nuclear foci response DSBs, but also targets DSBs. interactions between BRCT...
Although cancer is the leading cause of disease-related mortality in children, relative rarity pediatric cancers poses a significant challenge for developing novel therapeutics to further improve prognosis. Patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models, which are usually developed from high-risk tumors, useful platform study molecular driver events, identify biomarkers and prioritize therapeutic agents. Here, we develop PDX Childhood Cancer Therapeutics (PCAT), new integrated portal models....
In response to genotoxic stress-induced DNA damage, TopBP1 mediates ATR activation for signaling transduction and damage repair. However, the detailed molecular mechanism remains elusive. Here, using unbiased protein affinity purification RNA sequencing, it is found that associated with pre-ribosomal (pre-rRNA). Pre-rRNA co-localized at double-strand breaks (DSBs). Similar pre-rRNA, ribosomal proteins also colocalize DSBs. The recruitment of DSBs suppressed when cells are transiently treated...
Summary This work presents DaTo, a semi-automatically generated world atlas of biological databases and tools. It extracts raw information from all PubMed articles which contain exact URLs in their abstract section, followed by manual curation the URL accessibility. DaTo features user-friendly query interface, providing extensible URL-related annotations, such as status, location country URL. A graphical interaction network browser has also been integrated into web interface to facilitate...
Most noncoding RNAs are considered by their expression at low levels and as having a limited phylogenetic distribution in the cytoplasm, indicating that they may be only involved specific biological processes. However, recent studies showed protein-coding potential of ncRNAs, might source some special proteins. Although there increasing identified to able code proteins, it is challenging distinguish coding from previously annotated detect proteins translation. In this article, we designed...

Background: An accurate and noninvasive method to determine the preoperative clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) pathological grade is of great significance for surgical program selection prognosis assessment. Previous studies have shown that diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) has moderate value in grading ccRCC. But DWI cannot reflect diffusion tissue accurately because it calculated using a monoexponential model. Intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) biexponential model DWI. Only few...

Impulse interference is one of the major interferences in power system, and existed algorithms mainly focus on narrow-band when using wireless communication, which have little effect impulse interference.Aiming at this problem, paper proposes an suppression algorithm combined with adaptive gain control (AGC) Electric Energy Data Acquire System, uses correlation to suppress interference.Simulation results show that: On condition Gaussian noise plus interference, signal ratio (ISR) 25 dB,...

The mitochondria of most organisms follow strict maternal inheritance, and the mechanism elimination paternal is unclear. Our previous studies showed that mtDNA presented in embryo hybrid Megalobrama Amblycephala (BSB,♀) × Carassius auratus red var(RCC,♂) (BR) its reciprocal (RB), but expression was quiescent. However, microinjected persisted expressed throughout embryonic development. In addition, chromosome number RCC (2n = 100) much larger than BSB 48). All BR embryos were severely...
