Alzheimer's disease (AD) is one of the most significant neurodegenerative disorders and its symptoms mostly appear in aged people. Catechol-o-methyltransferase (COMT) known target enzymes responsible for AD. With use 23 inhibitors COMT, a query has been generated validated by screening against database 1500 decoys to obtain GH score enrichment value. The crucial features were evaluated online ZINC Pharmer identify new leads from database. Five hundred hits retrieved ADMET (absorption,...
Tuberculosis (TB) is the second leading cause of death from a single infectious organism, demanding attention towards discovery novel anti-tubercular compounds. Natural products or their derivatives have provided more than 50% all existing drugs, offering chemically diverse space for drugs.BioPhytMol has been designed to systematically curate and analyze anti-mycobacterial natural product chemical space. BioPhytMol developed as drug-discovery community resource with phytomolecules plant...
Aim: This study aimed to screen the potential phytochemicals derived from Asparagus racemosus (Shatavari) against Thymidylate Kinase (TMPK) and D9 decapping enzyme, which is vital target of monkeypox virus helps in host-- pathogen interaction mechanism, using integrated docking, QSAR analysis, a molecular dynamics approach. Background: The Monkeypox Virus (MPXV) recently emerging outbreak with ongoing infection cases. Drugs vaccines for smallpox are being used contain it. However, no...
Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), a widespread pandemic and severe health issue, is triggered by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); there no specific vaccine to cure this infection, situation worsening. Therefore, research sought develop with multiple epitopes against infection targeting envelope glycoprotein (vital in host-cell interaction) through immunoinformatics viroinformatics approach. We identified one B-cell, eight MHC-I, four MHC-II on its immunogen-assisted...
DPP-IV inhibitors have been immersed as promising pathway to treat Type 2 diabetes. Here we reported designing of coumarin derivatives inhibitors. Designed compounds studied for their binding with enzyme through molecular docking followed by synthesis. All synthesized fully characterized and screened inhibition activity. Two showed very good at 10 μM concentration.
Equisetum diffusum D. Don commonly known as 'Himalayan horsetail', has been traditionally used in the treatment of back pain, bone fracture and dislocation, arthritis by various tribal communities India. Our previous study confirmed anti-inflammatory efficacy plant through silico, vitro, vivo model studies. Therefore, current research is focused on safety dose evaluation for first-time whole-plant methanol extract (EDME) E. appropriate approaches.
Antimicrobial resistance remains a great threat to global health. In response the World Health Organizations’ call for action, nature has been explored novel and safe antimicrobial candidates. To date, fish have gained recognition as potential source of safe, broad spectrum effective therapeutics. The use computational methods design candidates industrial application however, lagging behind. fill gap contribute current fish-derived peptide repertoire, this study used Support Vector Machines...
Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) is a medicinal plant used in Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha medicine as home remedies for various diseases.C. longa, botanically related to ginger (Zingiberaceae family), perennial with short stem, large oblong leaves bears ovate, pyriform or rhizomes, which are often branched brownish-yellow colour. In recent years, extensive vitro vivo studies suggested curcumin has anticancer, antiviral, antiarthritic, antiamyloid, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties.Curcumin...
