Herein we report a practical synthetic route to the lasso peptide lassomycin () and C-terminal variant lassomycin-amide (). Abstract In this work, the shape effect of our same‐sized hybrid nanomaterials conjugated with two different Plk1‐specific peptides had been investigated in terms their photophysical properties, cellular uptake efficiencies, and selective inhibitory effects towards cancer normal cells. The results clearly indicate that spherical NaGdF 4 @SiO 2 ‐P 1 nanoparticles achieve best performance for vitro imaging, G2 phase cell arrest, and, hence, cycle inhibition.
