Transformers have dominated the field of natural language processing and recently made an impact in area computer vision. In medical image analysis, transformers also been successfully used to full-stack clinical applications, including synthesis/reconstruction, registration, segmentation, detection, diagnosis. This paper aimed promote awareness applications analysis. Specifically, we first provided overview core concepts attention mechanism built into other basic components. Second,...
Adrenal vein sampling (AVS) is the recommended procedure for subtyping primary aldosteronism (PA) as unilateral PA (UPA) or bilateral (BPA), with different treatment needed each: adrenalectomy UPA and medication BPA. However, AVS invasive technically difficult, how to subtype noninvasively currently a great challenge. To evaluate accuracy of gallium-68 pentixafor positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) in using reference standard. This diagnostic study was conducted at...
Transformer-based networks have set new benchmarks in light field super-resolution (SR), but adapting them to capture both global and local spatial-angular correlations efficiently remains challenging. Moreover, many methods fail account for geometric details like occlusions, leading performance drops. To tackle these issues, we introduce OHT. This hybrid network leverages occlusion maps through an occlusion-embedded mix layer. It combines the strengths of convolutional Transformers via...
Abstract Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is a preclinical asymptomatic stage of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Accurate diagnosis SCD represents the greatest challenge for current clinical practice. The multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features 7 brain networks and 90 regions interests from Chinese ANDI cohorts were calculated. Machine learning (ML) methods based on support vector machine (SVM) used to classify plus normal control. To assure robustness ML model, above analyses...
The prevalence of hepatic perivascular epithelioid cell neoplasm (PEComa) is extremely low, and imaging diagnosis very difficult. We presented 18 F-FDG 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT findings in a 58-year-old woman with pathologically confirmed PEComa. tumor showed intense uptake but only mild activity on studies. This case suggested that might be useful tool for evaluation PEComa remarkable tumor-to-liver ratios.
18F-Florzolotau is a novel second-generation tau radiotracer that shows higher binding affinity and selectivity no off-target binding. The proportion loss of functional connectivity strength (PLFCS) new indicator for representing brain (FC) alteration. This study aims to estimate the relationship between regional accumulation FC abnormality in Alzheimer's disease (AD) mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients based on Florzolotau PET fMRI.22 NC (normal control), 31 MCI 42 AD who have already...
Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma is a rare low-grade originating from mesenchymal cells. We presented 18 F-FDG and 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT findings in 32-year-old woman with pathologically confirmed nodal-type follicular sarcoma. In this case, demonstrated lower uptake FAPI than FDG.
The aim of this study was to investigate the functional abnormalities between nucleus accumbens (NAc) and whole brain in individuals with Insomnia Disorder (ID) using resting-state magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Additionally, aimed explore underlying neural mechanisms ID. We enrolled 18 participants ID 16 normal controls (NC). Resting-state connectivity (FC) NAc voxels calculated compared two groups identify differential region. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis...
Intravenous (IV) leiomyomatosis is a rare IV disease. Our case presents 68 Ga-FAPI and 18 F-FDG PET/CT findings of in 37-year-old woman. shows only mild FDG but intense activity on studies. In this case, was superior to detecting leiomyomatosis.
Evidence suggests that subjective cognitive decline (SCD) individuals with worry have a higher risk of decline. However, how SCD-related influences the functional brain network is still unknown. In this study, we aimed to explore differences in networks between SCD subjects and without worry.A total 228 participants were enrolled from Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline (SILCODE), including 39 normal control (NC) subjects, 117 worry, 72 worry. All completed neuropsychological...
Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is a preclinical stage before impairment, which has high conversion risk into Alzheimer's disease. However, it still unknown on the brain functional differences between SCD and healthy controls (HC) subjects. This study therefore proposed complex network analysis based graph theory. In this study, we selected magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scans from Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University, including 27 42 HC First, constructed connectivity to...
Abstract A 68-year-old man who had recently been diagnosed with pulmonary nodules underwent both 18 F-FDG and 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT. Both studies showed increased uptake in nodules, which are suspected to be malignant. However, based on the histopathological findings after surgery, this is ultimately as a benign nodule. Our case suggests that intense may well.
High individual variation in the subjective cognitive decline (SCD) population makes functional connectivity (FC) biomarkers unstable. This study proposed a novel FC index, named proportion loss of strength (IPLFCS), and explored potential for SCD using this new index. We an IPLFCS analysis framework compared it with traditional Chinese Western cohorts. Post hoc tests were used to determine biomarkers. Pearson’s correlation was investigate between neuropsychological scores or cortical...
Abstract The treatment of metastatic pheochromocytoma is challenging. We report a case woman with recurrent multiple metastases who achieved excellent response after 4 cycles 177 Lu-DOTATATE therapy. She did not experience any observable adverse effects. Her disease was still stable 6 months the fourth cycle treatment.
Abstract Purpose: Adrenal vein sampling (AVS) is the recommended procedure for subtyping primary aldosteronism (PA) as unilateral PA (UPA) or bilateral (BPA) which needs adrenalectomy and medication treatment, respectively. However, AVS invasive technically difficult. How to subtype non-invasively currently a great challenge. We aimed prospectively evaluate accuracy of 68 Ga-Pentixafor positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in PA, using reference standard. Methods:...
