Smoldering myeloma (SMM) is associated with a high-risk of progression to (MM). We report the results study 82 patients both targeted sequencing that included capture immunoglobulin and MYC regions. By comparing these newly diagnosed (MM) we show fewer NRAS FAM46C mutations together adverse translocations, del(1p), del(14q), del(16q), del(17p) in SMM consistent their role as drivers transition MM. KRAS are shorter time (HR 3.5 (1.5-8.1), p = 0.001). In an analysis change clonal structure...

Previous research has shown that episodic retrieval recruits inhibitory processes impair memory for related events. We report two experiments examining whether may also be involved in causing semantic lapses. In a retrieval-practice paradigm, subjects were given trials presenting cue (a homograph Experiment 1, category 2) linked to many different items memory. For each cue, used general knowledge generate no (baseline), one, four, or eight of knowledge. Afterward, we determined through an...

This study investigated the influence of age, familiarity, and level exposure on metamemorial skill prediction accuracy a future test. Young (17 to 23 years old) middle-aged adults (35 50 were asked predict their memory for text material. Participants made predictions familiar an unfamiliar text, at three different levels each. The superior younger predicting performance. finding indicates that metamemory may increase from youth middle age. Other findings include compared material, result...

Black-chinned Hummingbirds (Archilochus alexandri) began nesting inside a hardware store near El Paso, Texas, in the spring of 2015. At least 12 attempts occurred through 2020, and all but 1 them fledged young (91.7% success). Nests were followed closely 2019 when 7 produced 13 fledglings. One female raised 4 broods between mid-April early September 2020; this laid eggs for her second, third, fourth while from each previous attempt still nest. The high success productivity that we observed...

AbstractPurpose:
Copy-number changes and translocations have been studied extensively in many datasets with long-term follow-up. The impact of mutations remains debated given the short time to follow-up most datasets.
Experimental Design:
We performed targeted panel sequencing covering 125 myeloma-specific genes loci involved 223 newly diagnosed myeloma samples recruited into one total therapy trials.
Results:
As expected, commonly mutated...
