Messenger RNA (mRNA) BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna) COVID-19 vaccines have been shown to be effective in preventing symptomatic randomized placebo-controlled Phase III trials (1,2); however, the benefits of these for asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) infection, particularly when administered real-world conditions, is less well understood. Using prospective cohorts health care personnel, first responders, other essential frontline workers* eight U.S....

It is fortunate that virus had spread worldwide so quickly turned out be less severe than was first feared. worth remembering, though, earlier strain of H1N1 — one emerged in 1918 sparked worst closely observed and recorded pandemic history, killing estimated 20 million 40 people worldwide. The did give us gift inestimable value: it provided a full-scale test .
OBJECTIVE Periventricular nodular heterotopia (PVNH) is a malformation of cortical development with high rates epilepsy. The extent to which nodules participate in normal cerebral functions addition pathological processes unclear. authors assessed the functional utility (i.e., cognitive impacts) surgically ablated epileptogenic PVNH tissue via comprehensive neuropsychological testing. METHODS sample included 32 patients who underwent presurgical evaluation and subsample 16 MR-guided laser...
