The enantioselective synthesis of axially chiral biaryls by a copper-catalyzed Diels–Alder/retro-Diels–Alder reaction 2-pyrones with alkynes is reported herein. Using electron-deficient and electron-rich 1-naphthyl acetylenes as the partners, broad range biaryl esters are obtained in excellent yields (up to 97% yield) enantioselectivities >99% ee). DFT calculations reveal mechanism provide insights into origins stereoselectivities. practicality robustness this showcased gram-scale synthesis....

Packet routing is one of the fundamental problems in computer networks which a router determines next-hop each packet queue to get it as quickly possible its destination. Reinforcement learning (RL) has been introduced design autonomous policies with local information stochastic arrival and service. However, curse dimensionality RL prohibits more comprehensive representation dynamic network states, thus limiting potential benefit. In this article, we propose novel framework based on...

Fortimicins, featuring with a pseudodisaccharide scaffold, are an unusual class of aminoglycosides potent efficacy against several aminoglycoside‐resistant bacterial strains. Notably, these molecules also exhibit lower inherent ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity than common aminoglycosides. Consequently, fortimicins promising type protypical for the development next‐generation aminoglycoside antibiotics. Here, we report asymmetric total synthesis fortimicin B in 12 steps (longest linear...

Packet routing is one of the fundamental problems in computer networks which a router determines next-hop each packet queue to get it as quickly possible its destination. Reinforcement learning has been introduced design autonomous policy namely Q-routing only using local information available router. However, curse dimensionality prohibits more comprehensive representation dynamic network states, thus limiting potential benefit reinforcement learning. Inspired by recent success deep (DRL),...

We are witnessing a surge of efforts in networking community to develop deep neural networks (DNNs) based approaches problems. Most results so far have been remarkably promising, which is arguably surprising given how intensively these problems studied before. Despite promises, there has not much systematic work understand the inner workings DNNs trained settings, their generalizability different workloads, and potential synergy with domain-specific knowledge. The problem model opacity would...

Abstract We report an asymmetric inverse-electron-demand Diels–Alder reaction of electron-deficient 2-pyrones with various phenyl vinyl selenides catalyzed by a chiral bis(oxazoline)/Cu(OTf)2 complex. By using side-arm-modified bis(oxazoline)ligand, variety [2,2,2]-bicyclic lactones selenide substituents were obtained in good to excellent yields (up 99%) and enantioselectivities 98% ee) under mild conditions. Based on this strategy, highly concise enantioselective synthesis the Corey lactone...

Edge computing plays an essential role in the vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) networks, where vehicles offload their intensive computation tasks to road-side units for saving energy and reduce latency. This paper designs optimal task offloading policy address concerns involving processing delay, consumption edge cost. Each consisting of some interdependent sub-tasks is characterized as a directed acyclic graph (DAG). In such dynamic novel hierarchical Offloading scheme proposed by leveraging...
