Copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO-NPs) were synthesized at room temperature via a green method that is easy, efficient, eco-friendly, and low-cost. The aqueous extract of Bougainvillea leaves was used as reducing capping agent. Pure polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) CuO-PVA nano-composite thin films 13wt%, 30wt%, 40wt%, 51wt% prepared by the solution casting method. optical electrical properties CuO-NPs, pure PVA, analyzed using UV–visible spectrophotometer Keithley electrometer. band-gap energy (Eg)...

The (Si)GeSn films have been grown with and without carrier gases on Si substrate using a cold-wall ultra-high vacuum chemical vapor deposition system. Material characterization of the Ar gas X-ray diffraction transmission electron microscopy shows achievement higher quality films. Optical photoluminescence enhancement in material at 350 400ºC growth temperatures. Increase pressure results Sn incorporation intensity. Spectroscopic ellipsometry data confirms change GeSn bandgap towards lower energies.

Abstract The compositional and optical properties of an aluminum‐based transition‐metal alloy system (Au–Ag–Al) as advanced material for photonic applications are investigated. is fabricated by sequentially evaporating thin layers gold, silver, aluminum. thickness Al varied to reflect different percentages in the alloyed films. Alloying metals confirmed from shifts electronic binding energy pure elements through X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. current–voltage measurements demonstrate good...

High quality crystalline homoepitaxial silicon film has been deposited in single-step growth using ultra-high vacuum plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition at 250°C. An investigation on the effects of key parameters such as temperature, hydrogen dilution, and plasma power led to achievement balanced conditions. Material Characterization reveals that defect-free is due dominant role plays enhancing surface diffusion over selective etching amorphous phase. Absence crystal defects,...

The effect of a native silicon dioxide layer on metal-induced crystallization hydrogenated amorphous (a-Si:H) was investigated. Several samples, deposited by the plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition technique, were exposed to different ambients for times allow growth layers thicknesses. Then, aluminum used crystallize samples using at temperatures far below solid-phase temperature a-Si. In this study, we focused effects oxide and rates as determined X-ray diffraction. Following...

The multiconversion processes in optical parametric oscillators based on periodically poled LiNbO3 are investigated. Interpretations simultaneous quasi- and birefringent phase matching presented. Three three harmonic generation a multigrating crystal were observed. Two of the two harmonics quasi-phase matched, other conversion matched through birefringence crystal. primary process (omegap --> omegas + omegai) was obtained first-order matching. quasi-phase-matched occurred within higher...
