Green wireless communications have received considerable attention recently in hope of finding novel solutions to improve energy efficiency for the ubiquity applications. In this paper, we argue and show that time-reversal (TR) signal transmission is an ideal paradigm green because its inherent nature fully harvest from surrounding environment by exploiting multi-path propagation re-collect all would otherwise been lost most existing communication paradigms. A technology must ensure low...
Bis-thiocarbono-hydrazones are found to be a class of sensitive, selective, ratiometric, and colorimetric chemosensors for anions such as fluoride (F(-)) or acetate (Ac(-)). The sensitivities, the binding constants sensors with anions, were strongly dependent on substituents appended pi-conjugation framework, delocalization bridge CH==N, aromatic moiety, hetero atom in C==X group (X=O, S) sensors. Single-crystal structures (1)H NMR titration analysis shows that --CH==N-- moiety is...
In this paper, we present an overview of the timereversal (TR) wireless paradigm for green Internet Things (IoT).It is shown that TR technique a promising focuses signal waves in both time and space domains. The unique asymmetric architecture significantly reduces cost terminal devices, total number which expected to be very large IoT.The focusing effect can harvest energy all multi-paths at receiver, improves efficiency transmission thus battery life devices IoT.Facilitated by...
We report herein a convenient and versatile method for the direct reductive alkynylation of tertiary amides to give propargylic amines through sequential Ir-catalysed hydrosilylation-Cu(i)-catalysed alkynylation. The reactions proceed chemoselectively at amide group in presence several sensitive functional groups including very reactive aldehyde on either or alkyne coupling partner. is general tert-amides with without α-hydrogen.
Cephalosporins constitute a large class of β-lactam antibiotics clinically used as antimicrobial drugs. New Dehli metallo-β-lactamase (NDM-1) poses global threat to human health it confers on bacterial pathogen resistance almost all β-lactams, including penicillins, cephalosporins, and carbapenems. Here we report the first crystal structures NDM-1 in complex with cefuroxime cephalexin, well NMR spectra monitoring cefixime hydrolysis catalyzed by NDM-1. Surprisingly, cephalosporoate...
New Delhi metallo-β-lactamases (NDMs), the recent additions to (MBLs), pose a serious public health threat due its highly efficient hydrolysis of β-lactam antibiotics and rapid worldwide dissemination. The MBL-hydrolyzing mechanism for carbapenems is less studied than that penicillins cephalosporins. Here, we report crystal structures NDM-1 in complex with hydrolyzed imipenem meropenem, at resolutions 1.80-2.32 Å, together NMR spectra monitoring meropenem hydrolysis. Three...
A transformation of fluxional into configurationally stable axially chiral N-arylpyrroles was achieved with a highly atroposelective electrophilic aromatic substitution catalyzed by chiral-at-metal rhodium Lewis acid. Specifically, were alkylated N-acryloyl-1H-pyrazole electrophiles in up to 93 % yield and >99.5 ee, follow-up conversions reveal the synthetic utility this new method. DFT calculations elucidate origins observed excellent atroposelectivity.
In this study, cobalt–iron hydrotalcite-based catalysts doped with sulfur or phosphorus were developed for the selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA).
A cobalt complex with a tetradentate aminopyridine ligand catalyzes the cycloaddition reactions of CO 2 and epoxides, constituting single-component, efficient solvent-free system.
Carbazole-based bisboronic acids were found to be enantioselective fluorescent sensors for tartaric acid. The fluorescence response toward the enantiomers of acid at neutral pH displayed enhancement/diminishment. sensor displays an unusual intensity-pH relationship with diminished emission acidic but enhanced basic pH. Photoinduced electron transfer (PET) from fluorophore protonated amine/phenylboronic unit is proposed responsible this effect, which rationalized by density functional theory...
The multi-path effect makes high speed broadband communications a very challenging task due to the severe inter-symbol interference (ISI). By concentrating energy in both spatial and temporal domains, time-reversal (TR) transmission technique provides great potential of low-complexity energy-efficient communications. In this paper, novel concept division multiple access (TRDMA) is proposed as wireless channel method based on its high-resolution focusing effect. It use TR structure multi-user...
The corrosion behavior of three acidic media, 98% sulfuric acid, 1-(4-sulfobutyl)-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate ([BsMIM][HSO4]) and tetrafluoroborate ([BsMIM][BF4]), was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) Tafel plots. It indicated that the mechanism is controlled charge transfer. And two acidic-functionalized ionic liquids (AFILs) exhibited lower rate. On basis results, inhibition ability AFILs in 1.0 M acid toward 304 stainless steel investigated at various...
SiC porous ceramics (SCPCs) were fabricated by a dry press forming method and in situ reaction-bonding technique using ZrO2 as sintering aids, activated carbon pore-forming agent, whiskers reinforcing agent. The effects of the amount on porosity, bending strength, microstructure, gas permeability SCPCs investigated. results showed that without incorporated whiskers, strength was 9.7 MPa for sintered at 1550 °C, while with 3.3 wt % reached 28 MPa, nearly 3-fold increase over pristine SCPCs....
Reported herein is the first direct, metal-catalyzed reductive functionalization of secondary amides to give functionalized amines and heterocycles. The method shown have exceptionally broad scope with respect suitable nucleophiles, which cover both hard soft C nucleophiles as well a P nucleophile. reaction exhibits good chemoselectivity tolerates several sensitive functional groups.
