Abstract Traditional gas sensors are facing the challenge of low power consumption for future application in smart phones and wireless sensor platforms. To solve this problem, self‐powered rapidly developed recent years. However, all reported suffering from high limit detection (LOD) toward NO 2 gas. In work, a photovoltaic based on n‐MoS /p‐GaSe heterojunction is successfully prepared by mechanical exfoliation all‐dry transfer method. Under 405 nm visible light illumination, fabricated show...

Abstract The exfoliation of two naturally occurring van der Waals minerals, graphite and molybdenite, arouse an unprecedented level interest by the scientific community shaped a whole new field research: 2D materials research. Several years later, family that can be exfoliated to isolate keeps growing, but most them are synthetic. Interestingly, in nature, plenty minerals found with wide range chemical compositions crystal structures whose properties mostly unexplored so far. This...

Intelligent materials with adaptive response to external stimulation lay foundation integrate functional systems at the material level. Here, experimental observation and numerical simulation, we report a delicate nano-electro-mechanical-opto-system naturally embedded in individual multiwall tungsten disulfide nanotubes, which generates distinct form of in-plane van der Waals sliding ferroelectricity from unique combination superlubricity piezoelectricity. The enables programmable...

Flexible electronics have enormous potential for applications that are not achievable in standard electronics. In particular, important technological advances been made terms of their performance characteristics and range applications, ranging from medical care, packaging, lighting signage, consumer electronics, alternative energy. this study, we develop a novel method fabricating flexible conductive carbon nanotube (CNT) films on various substrates. The fabricated CNT exhibited satisfactory...

For gas sensing applications, most of the reported two-dimensional (2D) materials are suffering from relatively low sensitivity and high limit detection (LOD) at room temperature. In this work, we selected rhenium disulfide (ReS2) nanosheets to fabricate ReS2 transistor-based sensors (RTGSs) with ultrahigh LOD toward nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The different thicknesses were prepared via mechanical exfoliation all-dry transfer method. Under 405 nm light illumination temperature (25 °C),...

Blue luminescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs) were prepared from cyanobacteria by a hydrothermal method. The PL yields of the obtained CQDs was 5.30%. Cyanobacteria-based dots/polyvinyl alcohol/nanocellulose composite films prepared, which could emit bright blue under UV light. FTIR characterization showed that had hydroxyl groups on surface and no new formed after combining three materials. photoluminescence (PL) spectra revealed emission excitation dependent. Studies water resistance...

We report the isolation of thin flakes cylindrite, a naturally occurring van der Waals superlattice, by means mechanical and liquid phase exfoliation. find that this material is heavily doped p-type semiconductor with narrow gap (<0.85 eV) intrinsic magnetic interactions are preserved even in exfoliated nanosheets. Due to its environmental stability high electrical conductivity, cylindrite can be an interesting alternative existing two-dimensional materials.

Abstract The analysis of exhaled acetone is used as a noninvasive diagnosis for diabetes. Compared with traditional breath tools, chemiresistive gas sensors have attracted more attention real‐time monitoring, owing to the possibility integration and facile operation.
