Abstract As the proportion of buildings energy consumption increases, issue low utilization efficiency becomes increasingly prominent. Approximately 45% is lost through doors and windows, a significant concern that has drawn society's attention to potential electrochromic technology, which can regulate light transmittance absorption effectively. Specifically, dual‐band materials offer promising solution this issue, as they manipulate transmission ratios visible (VIS) near‐infrared (NIR)...
The anticancer activity of disulfiram (DS) is copper(ii) (Cu)-dependent. This study investigated the mechanisms DS/Cu using in vitro cytotoxicity and metabolic kinetic analysis. Our indicates that targets cancer cells by combination two types actions: (1) instant killing executed reaction generated reactive oxygen species; (2) delayed introduced end product, DDC-Cu. Nanoencapsulation DS might shed light on repositioning into treatment.
The asymmetrical sulfur analog of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), thieno[3,4-b]-1,4-oxathiane (EOTT), was synthesized, and its electropolymerization comparatively investigated by employing different solvent–electrolyte systems (room temperature ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BmimPF6), CH2Cl2–Bu4NPF6, CH2Cl2–BmimPF6). Further, the effect solvents supporting electrolytes on structure, morphology, electrochemical, electronic, optical properties electrochromic...
Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor among females, with triple-negative breast being an important type accounting for 15-20% of all cases. Triple-negative one the most aggressive types without standard adjuvant chemotherapy. Ganoderic acid A (GA-A) major bioactive Ganoderma triterpenoids isolated from Ganoderma, which are recognized their preventative and therapeutic effects. In present study, antineoplastic effect GA-A on human was investigated pro-apoptotic function Janus kinase...
As a reactive oxygen species (ROS), hypochlorite (OCl−) plays crucial role in oxidative stress and signal transduction, controlling wide range of physiological functions. In addition, the use OCl− treatment food water might possibly threaten human health if residual quantity was out limits. Currently, sensitive methods employed to selectively monitor aqueous samples in situ are still scarce badly needed. Boron esters or acids considered be suitable...
The key to rural revitalization lies in talent revitalization. Cultivating a workforce that understands agriculture, loves areas, and cares for farmers, while retaining regions, is of greater significance comprehensively advancing From the perspective farm household part-time farming, this study takes One Village, University Student program as an example. Using survey data from 2552 households across 12 counties (cities districts) Jiangxi Province, China, employing ESR model, empirically...
A novel and simple strategy to prevent swelling, disintegration, cracking peeling-off of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) film in water was developed.
The Mars-van Krevelen mechanism (MvK) is a widely recognized model for describing the role of lattice oxygen in catalysis. Following MvK mechanism, formation and conversion surface vacancy (VO) are considered as key steps. CeO2-ZrO2 (CZ) mixed oxides typical catalyst support mechanism. They have unique property hosting remarkable amount VO without significant change structure, offering O storage release capability that maintains required concentration active on catalytic surface. In this...
A new nitrogen analog of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), N-methyl-3,4-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]oxazine (MDTO), was electropolymerized in different solvents (deionized water, acetonitrile, and propylene carbonate) using LiClO4 as the electrolyte. The structure performance as-prepared PMDTO polymers were systematically studied by cyclic voltammetry, UV-vis spectroscopy, FT-IR, SEM, thermogravimetry, spectroelectrochemistry electrochromic techniques. To our surprise, had a major influence on...
Water-dispersible and fluorescent core–shell nanorods (NRs) consisting of covalently linked poly(allyamine hydrochloride)-pyrene (PAH-Py) were synthesized used for fabricating hybrid organic–inorganic NRs. The reaction between 1-pyrenecarboxaldehyde (Py-CHO) PAH was driven by Schiff base formation followed NaBH4 reduction, caused 28% mass loss Py molecules at the final stage (2 h). PAH-Py NRs contained 42% PAH, corresponding to a substitution ratio 34.5%. They uniform in size with Py-CHO...

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can inhibit cell growth and metastasis, induce apoptosis in cancerous cells. They have been shown to reduce incidence mortality of gastric cancer by an unknown mechanism. NSAIDs often exert their effects Cox-2 inhibition, is overexpressed Nevertheless, when cells were treated with different NSAIDs, the non-Cox-2-inhibiting R-flurbiprofen was most effective at reducing proliferation vitro. R-Flurbiprofen prevented metastatic characteristics vitro,...
Abstract Tetraphenylethylene (TPE)‐substituted poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH‐g‐TPE) is synthesized by a Schiff base reaction between PAH and TPE‐CHO. The PAH‐g‐TPE forms micelles in water at pH 6, which are further transformed into pure TPE‐CHO nanoparticles (NPs) with diameter of ≈300 nm after incubation solution low value. In contrast, only amorphous precipitates obtained when methanol incubated water. aggregation‐induced emission feature the TPE molecule completely retained NPs, can...
Two new 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) derivatives, (2R)-(2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-2-yl)methyl 2-phenylpropanoate ((R)-EDTM-PP) and (2S)-(2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-2-yl)methyl ((S)-EDTM-PP), were synthesized electropolymerized in dichloromethane (CH2Cl2) terabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate (Bu4NPF6) system. As chiral electrodes, poly((2R)-(2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-2-yl)methyl 2-phenylpropanoate) ((R)-PEDTM-PP)...
ABSTRACT Oligo(oxyethylene) chains cross‐linked 2,2’‐bithiophene (BT‐E5‐BT) has been synthesized successfully. A free‐standing copolymer film based on BT‐E5‐BT and 3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene (P(BT‐E5‐BT‐ co ‐EDOT)) by electrochemical polymerization. The electrical conductivity of P(BT‐E5‐BT‐ ‐EDOT) (16 S m −1 ) improved four orders magnitude compared to the homopolymer (P(BT‐E5‐BT), 5 × 10 −3 at room temperature. Both films exhibit well‐defined redox satisfied coloration efficiency....
