We have prepared and isolated neutral polycyclic hydrocarbon radicals. A butyl-substituted radical gave single crystals, in which a π-dimeric structure, not σ-bonded dimer, was observed, even though steric protection absent. Thermodynamic stabilization due to the highly spin-delocalized structure contributes effectively suppression of σ-bond formation.

The nature of the high work-hardening rate nitrogen bearing steels was examined focusing on stacking fault energy (SFE). dislocation configuration and width dissociated dislocations were evaluated in various kinds austenitic stainless with without nitrogen, using weak beam method. Nitrogen addition resulted changing from tangled to planar. was, however, found increase SFE rather than decrease as reported previously can be formulated a function chemical composition, SFE(mJ/m2) = 5.53 - 0.16...

Abstract Background Drug-drug interaction management is complex. Nirmatrelvir/ritonavir a potent cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A inhibitor and influences pharmacokinetics of co-administered drugs. Although there are several reports about drug-drug interactions nirmatrelvir/ritonavir, an influence concomitant use nirmatrelvir/ritonavir another CYP3A on tacrolimus remains unclear. Here, we experienced lung transplant patient with the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). In this patient, was...

Valganciclovir is the first-line agent for Cytomegalovirus prophylaxis after lung transplantation. However, its use associated with a relatively high risk of hematological toxicity. This study aimed to investigate relationship between trough ganciclovir concentration and hematologic toxicity in transplantation patients receiving valganciclovir prophylaxis, identify factors that affect pharmacokinetics this population. This prospective observational included 24 transplant prophylaxis. The...

Abstract Remdesivir, a prodrug of the nucleoside analog GS‐441524, plays key role in treatment coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19). However, owing to limited information on clinical trials and inexperienced use, there is lack pharmacokinetic (PK) data patients with COVID‐19 special characteristics. In this study, we aimed measure serum GS‐441524 concentrations develop population PK (PopPK) model. Remdesivir was administered at 200 mg loading dose first day followed by 100 from 2, based...

Tacrolimus is a key drug in immunosuppressive therapy following lung transplantation. The blood tacrolimus levels are likely to fluctuate the early postoperative period, and failure maintain trough level target ranges risk factor for rejection. However, there little information about relationship between time therapeutic range (TTR) of (tacrolimus TTR) clinical outcomes. This study aimed evaluate association TTR acute rejection (AR) within first three months after was retrospective patients...

What is known and objective Anticoagulation therapy with warfarin requires periodic monitoring of prothrombin time-international normalized ratio (PT-INR) adequate dose adjustments based on the data to minimize risk bleeding thromboembolic events. In our hospital, we have developed protocol-based pharmaceutical care, which called pharmacotherapy management (PBPM), for therapy. The protocol pharmacists manage timing blood sampling measuring PT-INR dosage determination an algorithm. This study...

Ganciclovir and its prodrug, valganciclovir, are first-line agents for cytomegalovirus infection prophylaxis after lung transplantation. Although valganciclovir is known to result in severe leukopenia as an adverse effect, dosage adjustment based on therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of ganciclovir concentration not generally implemented clinical practice. In this report, we describe the case a female her fifties transplantation who successfully maintained under TDM with minimal occurrence...

Among the oral antivirals used for treating patients with mild-to-moderate novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), nirmatrelvir/ritonavir (NMV/RTV) and ensitrelvir (ESV) are inhibitors of cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A, therefore, can cause drug-drug interactions concomitant medications. Tacrolimus (TAC), a substrate CYP3A4/5, is administered long period to prevent rejection after kidney transplantation. TAC should be discontinued while using NMV/RTV because blood levels significantly increase...
