We report the first optical biosensor for novel and important cardiac biomarker, galectin-3 (Gal3), using anti-Gal3 antibody as a biorecognition element surface plasmon resonance (SPR) transducing bioaffinity event. The immunosensing platform was built at thiolated Au modified by self-assembling four bilayers of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) graphene oxide (GO), followed covalent attachment 3-aminephenylboronic acid (3ABA). importance GO, both anchoring point field enhancer...
The redox chemistry of different nitro compounds biological significance is focused to understand how the reduction group can play an active role in several aspects as: electroanalytical determinations, free radical generation and stability reactivity. We have our studies a lot pharmaceuticals belonging mainly following families: calcium antagonists as nitrobenzene substituted 1,4-dihydropyridines, antibacterial anti protozoan agents nitroimidazoles nitrofurans. formation anion product one...
For the first time a critical analysis of influence that four different graphene oxide reduction methods have on electrochemical properties resulting reduced oxides (RGOs) is reported. Starting from same oxide, chemical (CRGO), hydrothermal (hTRGO), (ERGO), and thermal (TRGO) were produced. The materials fully characterized topography electroactivity glassy carbon modified electrodes also evaluated. An oligonucleotide molecule was used as model DNA biosensing. results allow for conclusion...
Abstract We report on the analytical performance of glassy carbon (GCE) electrodes modified with a dispersion multiwall nanotubes (CNT) in chitosan (CHIT) for quantification DNA. The electroanalytical response resulting was evaluated using differential pulse voltammetry, while electrochemical reactivity film surface characterized scanning microscopy. Different treatments GCE were to improve stability and accumulation guanine oxidation signal double stranded calf‐thymus DNA after 3‐min 20...
Gold nanostars (AuNSs) exhibit modulated plasmon resonance and have a high SERS enhancement factor. However, their low colloidal stability limits biomedical application as nanomaterial. Cationic β-cyclodextrin-based polymer (CCD/P) has cytotoxicity, can load transport drugs more efficiently than the corresponding monomeric form, an appropriate cationic group to stabilize gold nanoparticles. In this work, we functionalized AuNSs with CCD/P phenylethylamine (PhEA) piperine (PIP) evaluated...
The direct and reliable electrochemical detection of DNA is paramount importance to the development modern hybridization chips, for nucleic acids following their electrophoretic separations, or sensing damage interactions. Such solid electrode voltammetric measurements have been traditionally hampered by large solvent decomposition background current that obscures oxidation signals purine nucleobases. This paper reports on use adsorptive stripping square-wave voltammetry, in connection with...
We report the analytical performance of glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) modified with a dispersion multiwall nanotubes (MWCNT) in polylysine (Plys) (GCE/MWCNT-Plys).The resulting show an excellent electrocatalytic activity towards different bioanalytes like ascorbic acid, uric acid and hydrogen peroxide, important decrease their oxidation overvoltages. The 1.0 mg/mL MWCNT is highly stable, since after 2 weeks sensitivity for peroxide at GCE this remained 90% original value. The MWCNT-Plys layer...
Abstract An electrochemical sensor for the simultaneous determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) by square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) in bivalve mollusks using a glassy carbon electrode modified with electrochemically reduced graphene oxide has been developed. The surface was characterized cyclic voltammetry, high resolution scanning electron microscopy (HR‐SEM), Raman spectroscopy. optimum conditions were optimized linear range observed from 15–105 μg L −1 limits detection 15...
