Abstract Background The host–microbiota interaction plays a crucial role in maintaining homeostasis and disease susceptibility, microbial tryptophan metabolites are potent modulators of host physiology. However, whether how these mediate interactions, particularly terms inter-microbial communication, remains unclear. Results Here, we have demonstrated that indole-3-lactic acid (ILA) is key molecule produced by Lactobacillus protecting against intestinal inflammation correcting dysbiosis....

Obesity, particularly increased visceral fat, positively correlates with various metabolic challenges, including atherosclerosis, but the mechanism is not fully understood. The aim of this study to determine role visceral-fat-derived exosomes (Exo) in endothelial cells and atherosclerosis. We show that obesity changes miRNA profile adipose mice. Importantly, exosomal miR-27b-3p efficiently enters into vascular activates NF-κB pathway by downregulating PPARα. Mechanistically, binds directly...

Abstract A novel extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) with flocculating activity produced by Pseudomonas fluorescein isolated from soil was studied in this paper. Firstly, atmospheric and room temperature plasma (ARTP) applied to get a mutant of P. higher EPS production. T4-2 exhibited 106.48% increase compared the original strain. The maximum yield enhanced up 6.42 g/L, nearly 10 times than strain on 3.6-L bioreactor optimized fermentation conditions. Moreover, reached 3023.4 U/mL,...

Generative adversarial networks (GANs) have been used as a solution to handwritten Chinese character automatic generation (HCCAG) in recent years. However, most existing GAN-based methods adopt pixel-based strategy, which ignores the radical structure of characters. To achieve better HCCAG, constraint-based GAN (RC-GAN) is proposed this work. In method, gated recurrent unit (GRU)-based learning network designed calculate components among characters, and consistent loss applied train module....
