Tissue-engineered vascular grafts (TEVGs) poised for regenerative applications are central to effective repair, with their efficacy being significantly influenced by scaffold architecture and the strategic distribution of bioactive molecules either embedded within or elicited from responsive tissues. Despite substantial advancements over recent decades, a thorough understanding critical cellular dynamics clinical success remains be fully elucidated. Graft failure, often ascribed...

Abstract The increasing incidence of infectious outbreaks from contaminated food and water supply continues imposing a global burden for safety, creating market demand on‐site, disposable, easy‐to‐use, cost‐efficient devices. Despite the rapid growth biosensors field generation breakthrough technologies, more than 80% platforms developed at lab‐scale never will get to meet market. This work aims provide cost‐efficient, reliable, repeatable approach detection foodborne pathogens in real...

Therapeutic drugs for Alzheimer's disease have been extensively studied due to its recurrence and abundance among neurodegenerative diseases. It is thought that the accumulation of amyloid precursor protein (APP) products, a consequence an up-regulation β-site APP-cleaving enzyme 1 (BACE1), main triggering mechanism during early stages disease. This study aims explore ability multifunctional conjugate based on magnetite nanoparticles cellular delivery siRNA against expression

As life expectancy continues to increase, the inevitable weakening and rupture of bone tissue have grown as concerns in medical community, thus leading need for adhesive materials suitable repair applications. However, current commercially available adhesives face certain drawbacks that prevent proper repair, such low biocompatibility, poor adhesion wet surfaces, high polymerization temperatures. This work aims develop an injectable photo-responsive chitosan methacrylate/graphene oxide...

In this study, (011)-highly oriented Sr, Nb co-doped BiFeO3 (BFO) thin films were successfully grown on SrRuO3/Si substrates by rf-magnetron sputtering. The presence of parasite magnetic phases was ruled out based the high resolution x-ray diffraction data. BFO exhibited a columnar-like grain growth with rms surface roughness values ≈5.3 nm and average sizes ≈65–70 for samples different thicknesses. Remanent polarization (2Pr) 54 μC cm−2 at room temperature found ferroelectric behavior...

Dimensionally Stable Anodes (Sb2O5-doped Ti/RuO2-ZrO2) are synthesized at four different Zr/Ru molar ratios using the Pechini method to account for effects of ZrO2 content on active chlorine formation. X-ray diffraction ternary catalysts reveal co-deposited phases consisting a tetragonal crystalline structure (P42/mnm) RuO2, and two corresponding monoclinic (P2/m) structures ZrO2. SEM micrographs show that alters grain growth film morphology as its is increased. Electrochemical tests...

Melanoma is an aggressive type of skin cancer that accounts for over 75% deaths despite comprising less than 5% all cancers. Despite promising improvements in surgical approaches melanoma resection, the survival undetectable microtumor residues has remained a concern. As result, hyperthermia- and drug-based therapies have grown as attractive techniques to target treat cancer. In this work, we aim develop stimuli-responsive hydrogel based on chitosan methacrylate (ChiMA), porcine small...
